Mife wife and I had passed by the restaurant on several occasions. This Saturday night we went in for dinner.Besides the place being extremely small(the bathroom is literally in the kitchen) everything else about the place was top flight. The prices are very reasonable, the food was freshly and well prepared and the service was fine. Our dishes were just delicious. They had made a small mistake on my order and as a nice gesture they brought us a desert on the house.A nicety most expensive resaurants would fail to think neccesary.I highly recoomned with the sole caveat that it is very small inside.

A great little spot in the neighborhood. Food was excellent service was great atmosphere was perfect for a couple or small group of fiends. My husband had risotto and I had pasta. We can't wait to go back and order the opposite because we both raved about our own dish so much. The fact that it is byob is a huge added bonus. Great food t a great price.

I was walking home one night and stopped in to take a look. The staff was so nice and answered my questions pleasantly, so the following week I went back. It is really a tiny spot, so we were glad we got there early. The bread is nice and soft, and the caeser salad is sharable, with anchovies! I love anchovies! I had the porcini risotto, and really liked it. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs, and even though he said it was tasty, he also felt that the meatballs were over done and that the portions were small. I had to agree with him on that. But the chocolate lava and the tiramisu are delicious and we both enjoyed them. I like the place and feel if they improve the portion size just a bit, it will be a total smash.

Was VERY pleasantly surprised by our experience at this restaurant. Great Italian flavors, cute and quaint ambiance, and very friendly and helpful staff. the BYOB is a huge perk, which makes for a restaurant experience that far exceeds the prices you pay. the location is also quite convenient. i would strongly recommend this place on all accounts.
We live on the upper east side and this restaurant is, by far, the best we've been to yet!!! All four people in our party were blown away by the quality and taste of the dishes. We brought 2 bottles of wine and they did not charge a corking fee. A BYOB in NYC that serves great food AND is affordable- can't be beat! The atmosphere is cute and quaint. The service was great too. Can't wait to go back!

Really delicious flavor and quick delivery. Finally a restaurant that offers good quality risotto at a decent price!

Know before you go, this place does not have a bathroom. For a BYOB, which is nearly impossible to find in the city, it was ok. I would not rush back, but would give it another try. The no bathroom thing was a turnoff for me.
