I went to Rack & Soul with a bunch of friends after reading the rave reviews. I have to say I was disappointed. The food was just so so. Now, I have not eatern real southern food so I cant comment on the authenticity of the food but I can definitely comment on what is tasty and what is just about edible. I didnt care for the taste - there wasnt much anyway. The portions are quite small. The ribs had more fat and very less meat. The lemonade was like sugar syrup. We were rushed through our meal even though we had reservations. They actually had a party of 8 people out within an hour!

had rack & soul at workplace luncheon and it was to-die-for good. The ribs were finger licking good! The meat was just coming off the bone! The biscuits are buttery sweet, more like dessert, scrumptious! The chicken tenders were tasty, especially with the spicy bbq sauce. Mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and the veggie sides were also good. I don't eat fish, but the salmon looked good to me. The portions were huge! we ordered for 5 people but it seemed you can feed an army with the amount of food we had left over! You can't go wrong with any of the choices, just delicious food all around.

Out of the many times we have called for delivery we have only been able to get delivery twice. Everytime we call for delivery they say "they are not deliverying at this time"! Granted we have been ordering at meal times, isn't that when you generally eat??? If you advertise delivery then you should be prepared to deliver and have sufficient staff to handle peak times as well. We are very disappointed as the times we have been able to get food it has been the best we have found in this area (not Great but good, I am spoiled I am from Texas the BBQ State). It is a shame that delivery is such a problem for them.

Was pleasantly pleased with Rack and Soul. After the confusion with deciding which door to access with some reservations to boot, I had the most succulent and savory ribs you could imagine. The portions are excellent with your typical sides. The atmosphere was lacking only due to the size of the restaurant. They would do a killing in a larger space. Plan to revisit often! They need to open up in Long Island close to me. Enjoy!

I had a delicious meal at Rack and Soul. At first I thought $16 was a little steep for some barbeque, but the portions are generous! I ordered a combo platter with pulled pork, ribs, fries, and macaroni & cheese. All of them were excellent. The pork was very tender and fell off the bone. Next time, I would share the combo platter with someone because it was waay too much for one person. Definitely recommended!!

Ribs were awesome! Mac and cheese was awesome. Fried chicken was just okay. Also, I was not allowed to order smothered chicken because they didnt have the ingrediants (fried chicken smothered in gravy). However, I was allowed to order fried chicken with a side of gravy...go figure. Aside from this confusion the majority of the food was very tasty. Our server was a nice young lady who was very attentive, the service was quick, the atmosphere was really chill and they played good music the entire time at the perfect volume. Also, red velvet cake was moiste and delicious. Rack and Soul rocks and rolls!

I LOVE this place. I used to eat the ribs, which do fall off the bone and are awesome, but have, of late, been obsessed with the pulled pork, which is so tender and smokey and delicious. I dream about it when i'm at work -- which is unfortunately out of the delivery zone. I can't wait to get home and order. I also love the fresh lemonade and frozen lemon pie.
