Desperation is all over this once charming restaurant. The place has seen way better days and is sinking if not sunk. The dining room is old and shabby looking. The food is uninspired and just not good. This place was great but has run its course.

We had brunch there today, and it was wonderful. Cocktail, wine, etc. come with the $14.95 brunch. (Not just the usual Bloody Mary or mimosa) Food was really good as was the service. They really care about making their customers happy.

Have been to this restuarant many times. What happened? New management or new chef? Noticed the menu was different and staff. Ordered brunch many times and today was a huge disappointment. Missing silverware, ordered an ice tea and never got it without my tracking down staff to get it. No bread with the famous strawberry butter. Turkey burger rare and the waitress defended the kitchen by saying that's the way it should look. Never offered to take it back. Waitress rude. Will never go back and we loved this place.

Stopped in on Saturday Night.Got seated right away.Prix Fixe was a good value. My steak was very good and the potates and veggies were also very good.My wife had the Salmon and she was very pleased.Dessert was also good.Yes cold but i do not think i want warm Mousse.Cheese cake was cold but very good. Bathhrooms were clean and well lit.So far we have never had a bad time. And no it is not Italian nor owned by Rachel Ray.We live in New Jersey and know that.We will be back!

For some reason, I'd thought this spot was owned by Rachael Ray - don't know why I thought that. Anyway, my husband and I were strolling through our neighborhood, in search for a great meal. We were really tired, but determined to find a good pre-fixe menu. Well, the price was right here ($24.95 for an appetizer, main course, and dessert)... but the TASTE AND SERVICE was all wrong! Slow waitresses, food seriously lacking flavor, and the ambiance was below average. I will NEVER set foot into this place again. My penne alla vodka w/ chicken was all wrong (how do you mess THAT up?). Salad and soups were good... but the bread was dry and hard, hummus at an Italian restaurant? The cocktails WERE good, but that's about it. My key lime pie, and my husband's cheesecake tasted like they'd been sitting in the refrigerator for 2 weeks! I wouldn't recommend this place... it needs a complete overhaul or should be closed down! That's just my unfiltered opinion...

My girlfriend and I wandered into this place by chance....we were greeted by very courteous staff....The food was very generous and well-prepared...The prices for a mid-town restaurant were extraordinary...!!!!! Warm atmosphere....We will be going back again soon......
