not so much anymore. The happy hour margheritas, at 2 for 1, were amazing! But then they cut the deal to buy one, get the second one at half price. Ok, still not so bad. Then they were full price, and on top of that they skimp on how much they pour....it used to be a full glass, now there is LOTS of room at the top. Too bad, it was really awesome. The food is still quite good.

I'm very much a regular at Rachel's for eat-in and take-out. Tonight I called for delivery and was told in a very blase way that there was no delivery. First the woman who answered the phone said, "Oh, sorry, but delivery will take an hour," as if she expected that to end the conversation. When I said that was okay, she put me on hold, then a man came on the phone and said there was no delivery at all. Huh? It's Saturday night, I'm sure they're busy (I assume, as I was given no further explanation), but I'm hungry and they are supposed to deliver. I'm kind of pissed. I definitely felt disrespected and like they could care less. Too bad because the food is actually decent. But maybe they're no longer my favorite Mexican place in the 'hood.

I've been going to Rachel's since they opened. They have some really nice items on the menu... but I've had sooo many problems with them that it's hard to keep going back. I've been overcharged several times. I've had several delivery orders missing items. I've had them agree to bring the items that were missing, and never show up. I've asked on occasion for no cheese, or no pico, and had the request ignored. And on top of it, I've had the girl argue with me several times when I've mentioned problems. Nothing like being shouted at over the phone when they forget to send your tacos "They were in there, you're lying" It's the little things Rachel, it's the little things. It's too bad really, because they make a nice fish taco. And the vibe is nice there even since they made it more of a sitdown place... But it's so hard to keep giving them my money when older, more traditional spots like Tacos Nuevo Mexico keep their prices low and serve up great stuff without an attitude.

Rachel's is great if you eat there. The food is cheap, delicious and filling. Delivery is generally slow or nonexistent.

Rachel's is great when you eat in! The food comes out fast and the servers are always attentive. I live in South Park Slope on 23 rd Street and I have been told numerous times that they will not deliver to me (when it is a weekend and they are busy) but there is no such policy during the week. I was hung-up on a few times last time I called on a Sunday...no good!

This place is wonderful. You get large amounts of food for rock bottom prices. The wait staff is very friendly and they make the guacamole at your table. The food itself is very tasty mexican cusine and all members of my party cleaned their plates. The atmosphere has a great vibe and the place is nicely decorated. On the list of places I will definetely return.

Nice atmosphere and great service, but the food just wasn't good. The salsa had no spice/kick to it whatsoever... I felt like I was just eating a bowl full of diced tomatoes. The guacamole and beans were bland as well... to the point that I couldn't eat them. The one redeeming factor of the whole dinner was the michelada. There are too many other great places in the neighborhood to pay $30 for a few drinks and a bland meal...
