i ordered the scallops for $20, my date ordered the seared tuna ($22). the tuna was over cooked ( she ordered it rare), when i ask the waitress to bring out a rare one instead she laughed and said "too bad, that's the last one we got" - at least that's what i think she said, the music was blasting so loud that we could barely hear each other speak. my scallops were bland and the portion was tiny. to top the evening off we were double charged, the waitress issued a partial refund,the next day called my credit card to verify that i was refunded, turns out i wasn't! i am still disputing this charge.

The food is amazing and the Service is amazing we had the most friendly server. She did a great job everything was ran like a real resturant should and I'm defintely coming back again and bring more people with me ..

My friends & I heard great things about Questan's. And I must say they I would highly recommend this place. The food was amazing (get the lobster mash potatoes as a side). The only thing negative about the place was the service was slow but it was Friday night in NYC, what service is going to be fast? Hands down try this food and you will want more!! I know I am.

We had reservations on Valentine's Day made a month in advance through livingsocial.com. However, we waited 20-30 minutes to be seated when there were empty tables right in front of us. Everyone was at the bar seated and the music was so loud that it made us feel like we were at a club which is not the kind of ambiance we wanted for a romantic evening. After, seated it took them 20 minutes to finally start servicing us and after another 10 minutes we finally got some small ass corn-bread. After another 20 minutes we got our wine and water and she took our order. I was absolutely starving by that point so we ordered food that doesn't take long to prepare. I had the baby spinach salad with grilled chicken and he had the chicken Alfredo. At home I could make both in about 15 minutes but for some reason it took them 45 minutes. When ever we asked the waitress about our food she replied with a goofy, "Oh Yeah" so unprofessional. Any how when we did get our food, I'd have to say that it really was good but a little on the salty side (but we are talking about a black seafood restaurant sooo...). The wine was horrible I don't even know the year but it tasted cheap. And to top our whole night off, we were over-charged by $80 even though he had paid online for both our meals and the 10 dollar gratuity which was was over-priced for a long-wait and water service the waitress provided. I believe we did not get treated like the other customers because we were younger than their usual crowd and they thought they could "get over on us." I dont like this place at all and I think it's stupid to have a loud bar with blasting music right in front of the tables where couples just want to talk and eat. Not recommended for dates! My fiancee and I went twice to Questens. Hats off to the Chef., every dish was incredible. My fiancee and I are returning to try the baked clams, most definitely it will be an addition to the lobster bendict and lobster sandwich.

I love questans it's a nice place to go after work to just chill out with your friends or your spouse. I go there all the time the people who work there are down to earth and the food is great especially if you love seafood .

A friend and I stopped by for lunch on Sunday and ordered from the brunch menu. We both had sandwiches, which were huge, and which came with a choice of salad or fries, which were also large portions. I had fish, my friend had veggies. The food was well-prepared and attractively presented. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive ( I was given another glass of water as I headed out the door to make sure that I was "properly hydrated" to face the scorching afternoon), and the atmosphere was very laid back and comfortable. The server suggested that I try to lobster salad next time I come, and I plan to follow that advice.
