Food rather blah. Will try them again in a year.

Overall we were not happy with this restaurant. We ordered a lentil appetizer and the lentils and injera were cold. Based on ethiopian food that we had in Washington, DC the injera bread is supposed to be warm and not cold. Even though we were the only ones in the restaurant at that time the waitress/bar woman was not very attentive to us. When the main dish was server the food was warm and the injera bread was cold again. We asked the waitress to warm up the injera and she looked at us kind of confused. We ordered the vegeterian sampler. The taste was good for the most part, but overall it was very oily. Needless to say my wife did not touch it. I would not recommend this place.

this is the best ethiopean i've ever had in my life! okay okay, so i usually stick to the vegetarian courses, but the one time i did have beef it was really really good. ethiopean is one of my favorite cuisines, and i've been to several restuarants on either coast. let me assure you, all ethiopean food is served the same way- on injera with some on the side. and this is hands down without a doubt my favorite one. and last thing, you don't go here for the service, you go here for the food.

after sampling three ethiopian restaurants, including the new brunswick NJ one mentioned above, this is my favorite by far. the food is well prepared and very flavorful. we had a vegetarian sampler and i had no clue what was what, but it was such a bargain and sampled almost all of my choices on the menu, so it won't be a problem. :) service was not warm, but definitely satisfactory. try the Tej (honey wine), it's good stuff!

Atmosphere is nice, cute place. However, the service is poor and the food is okay. This is a very pricey Ethiopian place compared to the rest (and I've been to most of the others)

I didn't love this place. I have been to a great Ethiopian restaurant (in New Brunswick, NJ) and this place doesn't really compare. The food came out and didn't even look good. It tasted worse. The floors are rugs on top of rugs and that makes me think it might be unclean. The service was OK, the women weren't really talking to us. I don't recommend it.
