    Dependable fresh sushi for delivery!

My beau and I finally found our go-to sushi spot for delivery on lazy nights and it's Quan. We've been ordering from here for over a year and we're picky sushi eaters, dining at the likes of Sushi Yasuda, Sushi Ann, and Nobu. We even took a sushi making class and this place really delivers, in more ways than one! We used to get the spicy Maki combos and they were also delicious and filling. We started ordering some special rolls along with a shrimp tempura roll and were not disappointed. In particular, the Crunchy Tuna Special Roll is outstanding but other favorites include the Dragon Roll and Crazy Tuna Roll. Both come with a generous serving of avocado on top and the spicy black pepper tuna is just delicious. I have never been unhappy with their fish. On the other hand, their chicken teriyaki was inedible on the one night I didn't share my beau's sushi desire. We've also enjoyed their shumai. To top it all off they deliver to the LES and take credit cards over the phone, what more could you ask for?

    Great Takeout

I've been trying to find a good, cheap sushi place near my new office, and I've found it in Quan. I had a california roll which was good and a sweet potato tempura roll which was excellent. Both sets of 6 pieces were really fat, so I feel stuffed instead of still hungry! Their miso soup was very flavorful and the salad with ginger dressing was standard, but good. All that for $8.40 including tax? I'll be back! There are only about 4 tables in the tiny restaurant, but the atmosphere is pleasant enough to dine in.

It's good if you order the right things.

It's very simple: do not order teriyaki anything. The sauce is lacking in flavor and too runny. It is a generous portion of protein though, but at $14, you can do better. The menu on this website lists old prices, so beware... Dumplings are cheap and good. On the small side. Rolls are big. Spicy tuna never disappoints. Miso soup just flat out sucks. Skip it. I suggest ordering any sushi and any appetizers, and you'll be a happy customer. Additional bonus: they're open till 11pm on weeknights. enjoy

o man what is Quan doing?

moving to the financial district i craved good japanese food; but nothing is open or delivers around here on sundays. so we ordered Quan, after a pleasant 25-35 minute wait our delivery came; Quan must be a well known local here, since our doorman didn’t bother to call us. $30.30 was the price, we ordered a chicken teriyaki and ginger chicken teriyaki and some tempura. the tempura consisted of some shrimp, aunties yams which lacked taste and were very mushy. my ginger chicken teriyaki tasted like chinese food and my friends regular chicken teriyaki tasted like some plain jane chicken with sauce. all in all the canned pineapples and salad were good.

    So fresh

I order frequently and am never disappointed. The sushi is super-fresh and the teriyaki is among the best I've had. Plus they deliver unbelievably fast. I have eaten-in there, it's tiny and not a place conducive to lingering. But when you're at home, I highly recommend this place for speedy delivery and quality, fresh food.

    Scrumtious?

Whoever said this place is great probably eats bagota fish and Village Kentucky Fried Chicken. Their Scrumtious and GREAT reviews convinced me to try this place. To be fair, the food isn't HORRRIBLE. I've had worse. The sashimi has lots of flavor, I just don't enjoy strong fish aroma. The stringy spinach didn't taste bad. I just don't see the rave reviews.

    Dissapointing

After reading all the reviews I was really excited to order lunch from here. It was cheap, but you are getting what you pay for. My spicy tuna roll was decent, my spicy yellowtail roll was almost inedible, very fishy tasting, and was thrown out after eating 2 pieces. They would not let me have a Toro roll as part of the lunch special even for an additional charge so I settled with a California roll which tasted like it had fake crab meat. This place is cheap but not worth it in my mind.
