Quality Meats

I was so excited to try somewhere new last night with a friend. Her suggestion to go to Quality Meats was perfect. From the perfect cosmo, amazing lobster cocktail and crab/avocado appertizers, monkey bread was scrumptous, my filet was cooked perfectly, and the wine suggestion was outstanding. How can we forget the pistachio icecream, wow is all I can say! Exceptional! I wish them much success.

Best restaurant steak I have ever eaten, but everything we had at QM was spectacular, from the unique meat cuts to the sides to the incredible desserts. Even the 'monkey bread' was different and terrific!! Several of us had the signature filet trio, delicious. The house steak sauce was entertaining both in its table-side preparation and its flavor. Service was perfect, the wine steward excellent in his suggestions for the diverse orders and tastes in wine at our table. The pace of the meal permitted us to enjoy every course without rush, and with time to allow desserts. My favorite was the passion fruit pie with red raspberries and the house-made blueberry ice cream. And the final touch, the handmade whipped cream. Expensive, but worth it, and a perfect ending to a lovely stay in NYC.

My girlfriend and I are pseudo-foodies, having gone to many Manhattan restaurants to avoid cooking, and Quality Meats was the best meal we've had since going to Craft last year. QM's atmosphere is great--every detail is accounted for, right down to the "QM" embrodiered on the napkins. The food was pricey, but we received big portions and the food was so tasty we didn't care how much it cost. Please note, the corn creme brulee was outstanding. Our server was a professional; attentive, and extremely helpful. I am recommended this place to everyone I know.

Corn creme brulee? Gurgle. This place is ridiculously good. Take every chance you get to go here. Just writing this review is making me hungry. First of all, the place is super cool...definitely the coolest atmosphere of any steakhouse I've ever been to, though Lugers is fun also. The steaks were top-notch and even my veggie/chicken/fish friends were raving about their dishes. All the side dishes we tried (and we tried a bunch) were epic, the appetizers were fantastic, and they've got this whole charcuterie bar that we didn't even get a chance to try yet...but we will soon. Check out this restaurant. Seriously. It's the total package. p.s. Coffee and Doughnuts ice cream!! Are you kidding me? I can't wait to go back.
