    solid choice

i eat at or order from q2 at least once a week. always dependable. nothing amazing but for good, affordable thai food in hell's kitchen, this is a solid choice.

    DELICIOUS

My boyfriend and I come here all the time and I have to say it's one of the few really good Thai places around here. We get a different appetizer each time and are never disappointed. Their pad thai and drunken noodles are absolutely delicious as well. We usually go in for their lunch specials and let me tell you, what a deal! Amazing food and served very promptly as well. Great find!

    Love It!

I get takeout from here all the time and am always happy with it. Quick, relatively cheap and delicious!

    rude service!

I went to Q2 after reading some reviews on menupages with my significant other. We went on a Friday evening around 6:00 PM. When we entered the little joint, we were surprised by how cute the atmosphere is, lots of neon bright lights, sort of like a club/lounge scene if i may. We were brought to a table, by a waiter, who seemed absolutely clueless about what to do. We asked him if they had any happy hour specials, and he just stared at us blankly until another waitress came around and asked her to take care of our table. They did have a happy hour special - buy 1 get 1 free, but don't bother unless you are only planning on getting beer or drowning yourself in alcohol, their mixed drinks are poorly mixed and extremely strong. The waitress who came to serve us and take our order was also extremely rude. We had decided to get the chicken satay for appetizer and I decided to get the yellow curry noodles and my boyfriend had got the basil fried rice with chicken and shrimp. Then I had a change in mind, the waitress did not place the order yet, she was at the next table taking an order, so I asked her if i could change my order, and she mumbled something underneath her breath and threw me a nasty look. I changed my entree to the drunken noodles. The food was mediocre, nothing special. The service here is poor and the waiters are very rude. Stay away from Q2!

    Was great but not anymore.

I have been living in Hell's Kitchen for about 3 years and I have tried almost every restaurant on ninth avenue. Q2 use to be the best Thai food in Hells Kitchen, however I don't know if they changed their chef or what the deal is but the quality in the food now is terrible. Its just disappointing when a place builds their reputation and then to just throw it all away due to either kitchen personnel or poor attention on food after they gained such notoriety.

    this place is bomb.

the food is amazing, drink prices are unbeatable, service is perfect and the atmosphere is pretty upscale for what youre paying. considering how great the food is, for the money you cant find better.

    fish sauce

I tried Q2 after reading all the good reviews. I got take-out and while ordering I specifically asked whether the drunken noodles had fish sauce in it and was told that it did not. I requested that the dish be fully vegetarian and upon opening the container at home, it was VERY clear that there was fish sauce in the noodles. :( Anyway, the service was fast and friendly...but they will say anything to appease their customers even if its not true.
