Not recommended
What a bummer this place was. Ordered takeout. The order took 50 minutes to arrive, and I live 5 blocks away! Ordered Duck Rolls, Dumplings, and Pad Thai. The rolls were absolutely unappetizing: they tasted like reheated frozen cold cuts. The Pad Thai was bland and really dry, but still somewhat edible. The dumplings were mediocre (at best). With so many other Thai places around here, I suggest getting delivery from someplace else.

Average food, weak cocktails
Went on a Saturday around 5 PM. Spring rolls and jumbo shrimp pad thai were average. Cocktails were weak, could not taste the alcohol. Staff were friendly.

Best value, good food
Really really good thai food. Even better value. $8 gets you a salad, appetizer, soda, and a main course. You cant beat that anywhere, let alone the city.

Best affordable Thai in NYC
I typically don't take the time to write reviews about restaurants but Q2 is definitely worth mentioning! This place is authentic, delicious and not overly greasy like a lot of other thai restaurants on 9th ave. THe servers may not understand English that well but they are super nice. We ordered Pad Se Ew & Drunken Noodles - AMAZING! perfect portions for the $$! LOVE Q2!

Very Good Thai
Q2 is an unassuming restaurant on 9th avenue. Food is inexpensive and servings are larger than usual. Curries, pad thai, spring rolls are all excellent. Served very saucy (so much sauce, you'll run out of rice) with very little vegetables. Excellent service, better value!

Very Pretty Food
This Thai food place is right near where I live so I go here all the time. Usually about once every two weeks. The restaurant has a real morning to night theme. When I go here during the day it seems bright and pretty. At night is has this kind of chic nightclub look. I like it. The food is mediocre. Whenever someone brings it out I'm like I can't wait to dig in because it always looks like something beautiful. But it always ruins my excitement on the first bit because it's kind of bland. Every time I got there there are not a lot of tables filled but the waiters always seem busy. Overall, its a lot of show for such middle class food.
