Indifferent service here on Monday night this week (December 16 2013) We were a table of three seated at 6:15pm with only three other tables occupied. We were handed a clipboard with specials which were verbatim (word for word) from the menu and at the same price! We had to ask to speak with our waiter who said are you ready to order now? No hello, good evening, the specials are . . The bread with a mysterious green dipping sauce ( there was cilantro in it !) had come as had the water. By the time he came to our table there ware seven other tables seated with one other waiter on the floor The caprese salad arrived with good mozzarella, anemic tomatoes and avocado (avocado? really? caprese?) and the carpaccio was perfect. We had to ask for the appetizer plates to be removed and then suddenly we received three empty small salad sized plates for no reason. We asked to have them removed to the puzzlement of the wait staff not the waiter. The food was not delivered by the waiter but by his support table staff. The gnocchi was mid temperature, the black squid ink pasta was all right and the broccolini with my veal salimbocca was limp and overcooked. NO ONE came to ask if everything was all right - - only the question can we refill one of the two soda drinks. No one checked on my wine. NO interest in dessert The suit who was pacing the bar came to pick up our credit card immediately though! We eat out frequently and were rather surprised at the non-service in what previously was a good neighborhood reliable place. Too bad they do not read these reviews!

Excited to see Puttanesca reopen with a reinvented menu. But they've changed so much that there literally isn't a pasta dish I want to order anymore. Sometimes you don't want beef, lamb, or veal in your pasta dish. Hope they consider making tweaks to the menu-want them to succeed in the neighborhood.

Tonight was our 3rd visit to Puttanesca. With each visit the experience gets better. Our reservation was late (9:30PM) yet the service was outstanding! We requested 2 dishes that were not on the menu and the waiter came through with our requests. The food was delicious! It was my mother-in-law's birthday and they endured the extended laughter and singing even when we were the last table. Great Restaurant!

Been going there for years. Shoot a tv show in the area and have sent hundreds of people there over the years. Last night walked in at 430pm, barely empty. Rude hostess and manger wouldn't sit us without a reservation. Last straw in a changing attitude and declining food.. No more. Don't go!

The food and wine is tasty and is served in fairly large portions too. However, the waiter was nosy and unprofessional. He interrupted my dinner numerous times to ask inappropriate questions while trying to flirt with me and my sister. We literally had to rush through dinner. Because we liked the food we later order in but our experience the second time around was disappointing. I ordered a tricolori salad which looked like its been sitting in the fridge for a week and had a chunk of bacon thrown on to looking just about as fresh. The carbonara pasta had way to much pepper actually lots of pepper and unusually greasy. Eat in is fine as long as you don't mind intrusive waiters BUT delivery wont be worth your money.

Best place to go for all you can drink brunch - you pay $12 additional to any brunch item for unlimited drinks, no time limit. I go here at least once a month - great service
