We did the New Year's pre-fix and we left hungry. Portions were minuscule (the amuse bouche was literally a mandarin segment supposedly carbonated). Yes, this is supposed to be small but one segment is a joke. The cauliflower soup was in a word: blechy.

yes, the portions are small.
but as vegans, my spouse & i left very full. the choices are exotic --- i have no qualms about the food.
it is extraordinary.
i understand what goes into creating these food items --- aint easy. requires time.

The atmosphere is realy nice if you are in the garden, but extrimely noisy inside with very loud music.

I love, cook, and eat vegan and gluten-free food. In addition, I appreciate the value of raw vegetables and nuts. However, I was very disappointed by this restaurant. The food is REALLY over-processed and dense, and it just sat in my stomach for 24 hours

I'm not a snob. And this place is really expensive. But it's a NYC treasure. Anyone with appreciation for high level aesthetic experiences will really appreciate this place.
