    Not Recommended

I go out all the time, and was very excited about this concept, but it left a lot to be desired. While the service was excellent, the food was seriously lacking in taste and portion size and was very expensive. Save your money and eat a gardenburger

    Classiest vegan evening in town!

From the outdoor garden to the young bright things masquerading as waiters, to the artful display of creative and delicious food, we were sincerely impressed with this place. I am vegetarian, not vegan, but this place has something to please even the most carnivorous of foodies. The laid back but sweetly sophisticated atmosphere really makes it. I like to feel a little pampered when I pay good money for good food and this place has all that and more. Thumbs up.

Even for a non-vegan...I loved it

What can I say...I loved this place. People who review this food that think they are coming to eat real pizza, sushi and noodles are fools. You cannot compare...it is a different type of food altogether. Take it as it is...and it IS delicious. Go and try the new juice bar...organic and fantastic tastes. Go PFW!

    Not memorable

Pure Food and Wine is the type of restaurant you go once, maybe twice but then you never go back. When I went there I thought the food was ok, considering it's quite healthy and even creative. However, it lacks the great taste that makes a good restaurant a repetitive experience. It's just not memorable. Besides, the price is really high. Maybe if they cut it in half, I would reconsider...

    Such a unique treat!

Thought I would give raw food a try, even though I have never even tried sushi. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The lasagne was better than any oven baked I have ever had. And the outdoor patio was a special treat, like a little hideaway in the city. I will be recommending Pure to my friends, and will definitely go back at the chance.

    Something different, something wonderful

I read the review below which said: " there is no way it could taste good to an average person." Well, I AM an average ordinary person, and I thought the food was terrific and I am not a raw foodist or vegan. I think the lemonade is terrific, as is the coconut water...yum. I highly recommend the lasagne, the Thai lettuce wraps (I think the reviewer below thought this was a Vietnamese joint) and the tomato tartare. The scene is elegant and trendy at once. The service is impeccable. The garden area...oh that garden area...please find a way to keep it open after it starts to get cold. It is so beautiful and comfortable. All in all, Pure Food & Wine is a winner if you take into account that this is not real pizza, real sushi and real Thai lettuce wraps. It is something different and a city with many choices, and I for one loved it. I will definitely return and recommend PFW.

    Think Twice!

After hearing about this restaurant on the news and reading highly positive reviews about it, I tried this place out with my girlfriend and another friend. I wanted to try something different and new so they eventually agreed. The lemonade is something different. It also has agave nectar and some other herbs that taste similar to lemon. None of us liked it; it was too sour and had a peculiar taste. Perhaps that "lemonade" is for people who have an acquired taste for it. The spicy thai rolls were horrible. We thought "spicy" meant it packed heat. What it really meant was spices and herbs that really wreaked havoc on our stomachs. The Flatbread pizza was okay. The lasagna was not as good as expected. Overall, the food was not to our tastes. We are not vegan/raw foodists however we wanted to try something new. If you are like us, think twice because there is no way it could taste good to an average person. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgable. He described in detail what was in some dishes and how it was prepared. The atmosphere is very elegant and nice. Other than that, the food was quite something else.
