    Great Choice for Brunch

I was here this past Saturday with a party of 6. We were their first customers to arrive and were treated spectaularly. The mini muffins were amazing and everyone had a different dish and no one was disappointed with their meal. A side of sausage was ordered which came with 6 (so we shared around the table). The mimosas that came with the prix fixe brunch were great too. We will definitely be back.

    Tasty!

Been here a few times and Punch never fails to please. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the menu is well priced. Last night we tried the butternut squash soup and it was excellent. The hangar steak is always a favorite too! Great food and excellent value!

    Food wasn't good at all

Not sure if I caught them on a bad night but the food wasn't good at all. The waitress recommended the cod as the best dish in the house and it was drenched in butter - all I could taste was butter. I think my cholesterol went up by at least 50 points. My GF ordered the paella and it was too dry. Oh yeah a one glass serving of Pelligrino cost $5. I was very disappointed especially given the positive reviews here and on Zagat.

    Love this place!

My husband and I were visiting family and friends in N.Y. recently and had the pleasure of having dinner with them at Punch. It was delightful. The ambience is warm and inviting and yet, sophisticated. The service was great and the food ,well ,the "Roasted Chatham Cod was absolutely delicious . Having grown up in Nova Scotia where fish can be swimming in the Atlantic at 8 a.m. and served at 12 noon for dinner , I really was impressed with how very good it was. Between the food ,the atmosphere ,the wait staff and being with family and friends we always have a memorable time at Punch. Thanks for the memories. Moira and Len from Michigan.

    Pleasant experience, nice food, atmo.

We enjoyed the pumpkin hush puppies, hangar steak with potato au gratin, and lamb special. Very nice food, cooked to order correctly, medium portions, Wines and cocktails were priced well, lower than what I'd expect. The chocolate cake with ganache and butterscotch ice cream was good, but frankly just tasted like a really excellent Yodel/Ho-Ho - not that there's anything wrong with that.

    Okay food..poor service

I went there with my husband and his brother and cousin yesterday. We had the Sunday brunch prix fix.Food is okay,I guess.Their muffins are very good. The service is sooo bad.I named our waitress,"the floater" because she just floats around never bothered to ask us how's our food. She just "floats" again waiting for us to ask for the check. As if she's not in the mood to serve. The Hanger steak that they ordered was good and tender.I had the salmon and eggs benedict. Yummy but I'm not that impress. Not coming back.

    Delish!

Just returned from a delicious sunday supper at punch, and was inspired to write my first ever menupages review. Everything was wonderful - cozy yet refined atmosphere, friendly yet unobtrusive service, and delicious food. The bread was perfectly chewy and the her butter warm and spreadable. I highly recommend the beet salad - plentiful and interestingly flavored; the spicy lobster papardelle - homemade pasta, chunks of lobster, flavorful tomato sauce; and the seared scallops - 4 of the biggest scallops I have ever seen, excellently flavored and served atop a very interesting truffled crab and vegetable "mash" (for lack of a better word). Dessert menu was very tempting (particularly at only $6 per dessert, with an interesting selection) but was too full to sample anything. Will most definitely be back...
