not vegetarian, but liked it
looking for steak house in this neighborhood, forget it! The area looks like a ghetto, but it's filled with 20 - 30 y.o. professional students all after their PHd's in Political Science! We asked a vegan on the street for a good place to eat, and he told us about Pukk. It was good. We avoided anything tofu and had a really good meal. Cheap eats! Very funky interior. Might go back if I ever find myself in this strange neighborhood again.

Decent vegetarian Thai
The spring rolls were excellent. The duck salad way too sweet. And the green curry was good. The decor was done by someone who must design tile spas for a living. Oh, and they don't serve flesh of any kind.

best veggie thai place anywhere
I love love love this place. Their curries, their noodles, their day to day specials! I just wish I lived closer... I have tried almost everything on the menu and one dish is better than the rest.

Good Food, Great Value.
I work around the area, and Pukk was reccomended. I got the lunch special, a large dish that came with rice, soup and a salad, all for under $10. I highly reccomend it.

Absolutely delicious!
It doesn't matter if you're a vegetarian or not, Pukk is a place you will keep going back to again and again! I'm a picky eater but I have yet to order a dish I don't like. The special avocado curry is a must try. I also highly recommend spinach toast, green papaya salad and stir-fried brown rice with veggie duck added. The price is very affordable and you'll get generously-portioned main dishes. My only complain would be the service. Some of the staff act like they're doing a favor rather than offering friendly service one's accustomed to experience in a typical Thai restaurant.
