    Will definitely go again!

The restaurant was decorated for Christmas, with such a warm & friendly right-at-home feeling as we were greeted by the waiter. The food & wine were outstanding, homemade & fresh, took us back to the days at Grandma's house. The live entertainment was fun, we truly enjoyed ourselves, it was like being with a group of friends while we ate delicious food, just a great home-like feeling with friends and the prices are very reasonable for generous portions of tasty food!

    Good food, good fun

Great food, loud fun environment. We had decent service but I have not been there in a while.

    Comfort Food from my childhood

As visitors from CT, we had an opportunity to take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather in November for NY Marathon Sunday, walking in the sunshine, exchanging friendly conversation with strangers, and experiencing the 'best part of the day' by eating in Little Italy. We chose Puglia's because it looked like a small, friendly and unpretentious place. Well, my instincts were rewarded - this place is like finding a treasure. The portions are generous and the food is just too good to describe. Many of the menu items are memories of the very thing we ate growing up in an Italian household. Although my parents are no longer with us, eating the wonderful soups, pasta and breads at Puglia's felt like getting a BIG HUG from Mom. It was truly a comforting experience and one that we look forward to doing each time we visit NYC. I can still smell the intense aromas of the pizza baking in the brick ovens.

    Poor service

Despite its good food, don't try this restaurant (especially as a tourist). Not only will the very talkative, but annoyingly overwhelming, loud and careless waiter try to convince you that you ordered a much more expencive dish ("you took the seafood right?" "No pizza!" "So for you it was seafood, right" "NO!" (never answer yes, before you carefully checked the question!)), he will also add for his bad service the ridiculous amount of about 25% tip by himself. (we hope, we only got the worst waiter they have there, and others are better...)

    Fabulous

Absolutely a great place to go for a fun night out. My group spent a good 4 hours. Where else in Little Italy can you do a conga line through the resturant?

    Puglia is a delicious experience

What the service lacks in speed and efficiency, the kitchen makes up for with delicious Italian cuisine. Some nights they have a DJ playing tradition Italian folk songs. A great place for a first date or large groups.
