This bar is like any upscale bar - good food, fun atmosphere - but it excels on service. I went last night after reading the other positive reviews and I have to agree. Our waitress was super nice, and the manager came over 3x to check on us! That was maybe a bit much, but it was nice. The food was very good - not spectacular - but much better than most other bar's food. The spinach dip was good - and they brought more pita before we even asked - and the choc chip cookie crumble was delicious. I'd go again!

I love this place... it's a great midtown spot for any time of day. The food is great (try the Tuscon salad, spinach dip, and cookie dough smash for dessert), and the service is attentive and friendly. Plus there's a huge bar with a great happy hour crowd.. try the Public House lemonade for a nice summer drink.

The place looks great, and the talent is even better. Finally a spot where the guy to girl ratio isnt 10:1. I heard the spinich dip was good, and i heard right. I took down the burger, like the english muffin touch ,,, and one of the people in my group got the cheese sandwich dip. I have to have a bite of that, it just looked to good. Def recommed for happy hr, but get there early ... i like the little lounge in the back, gives it a nice feel.

This is a great addition to the midtown neighborhood. Perfect for Afterwork bar and restaurant before you get onto train at Grand Central. I this the specialty drinks are great! Try the blue cheese stuffed olives martini..amazing! I would definitely come back for happy hour and lunch! Try the chipolte wings or spinach dip! Steaks are great too!

this new restuarant is hip and trendy, but doesn't neglect to bring you good food and service. the space is beautiful. the biggest bar in nyc. the artichoke dip is excellent and the salads are yummy. a great addition to midtown east.

My buddies and I love to go get wings! We usually have to go all the way uptown to Blondie’s or downtown to get good wings but Public House has the best wings in Midtown. They are hot but not to hot and meaty. The come with extra sauce on the side and as much blue cheese, carrots & celery you want. We usually have to order them well done everywhere else but here they are cooked perfectly. They give you 8 or 10 of them which is nice because usually you only get 5 or 6 everywhere else. They also have a killer burger on an English muffin to die for. Nachos & Chicken Tenders are really good too. The service was great. The waitresses/bartenders are really hot. The beer is cold & the place is clean. We hostess was really nice and sat us right away. It was fairly priced as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to grab some wings, beers and check out the scenery after work or late night.

Seriously, when was the last time you were in mid town for a great WING? Burger on an english muffin, filet mignon sliders, crab cakes...Well done chef. The bar tenders are really sweet and the crowd is there to have a good time. Good music, plasma's melt intot the walls. Perfect lunch/after work place to meet up. I will be going back. Did I mention the wings?
