Went here on a Wednesday night and the place was pretty quiet. It's so cozy and the ambiance is very romantic. We ordered the oysters and caprese to start, both were good. My husband ordered the Tagliolini All'emiliana and it was amazing! Very rich, creamy and delicious. I ordered a simple spaghetti dish and as simple as it may seem, a lot of places mess this up. At PT though, this dish was by far one of my favorites! We went to Italy for our honeymoon and it brought me back. It was that good! Great wine list and waiter was very helpful, I would definitely go back.

this place has some pros and cons. sat out front to enjoy the weather but the street was a bit too noisy from cars and people from the block hanging outside. the attention to detail inside in the decor + atmosphere was really nice! cute, rustic + charming. could play better music something more chill/jazzy/downtempo vs. random rock songs. pasta bolognese + steak were really yummy! would love to see the outdoor patio sometime..it seemed like everyone wanted to eat back there but you needed a reservation that evening. service was a bit lacking though. friendly, but slow. seemed a bit understaffed maybe? would go again though.

went there for the first time and had one of the best meals in a long time. the special housemade pasta was just delicious, great wine and great atmoshpere. Staff was very friendly. excellent value. the only cons is the cash only, but the waiter told us that credit cards were on their way.

My girlfriend and I were suprised by our first meal here. In addition to a warm and cozy atmosphere, PT has really excellent food. We ordered the Raviolli and Cheese Gnocci...both were superb, though the Cheese Gnocci stole the show. I knocked off a point in atmosphere and service only because the tall stools and tables were a bit awkward for fine dining (I overheard the waiter say the tables were going to be replaced), and we had to wait a while for the check. Otherwise, the staff was super friendly. The music, ambience, and food all pointed towards a fantastic rustic Italian experience.

This place has really improved. I recently gave it another try and was surprized at how great my meal was.

The food at PT is really outstanding, some of the best in Williamsburg. The homemade dishes are simple and rustic. Throw in an excellent wine menu and a cozy atmosphere, and it's a great evening.

Although I've had pleasant experiences at PT before, the service was so terrible that I walked out tonight as nobody working there was interested in taking our order. We were seated at a communal table and had been there fore 10 minutes when another party was seated near us. After more time, the party next to us was able to place their order before we were even acknowledged. Despite ignoring us we stuck it out for a few more minutes until we saw that the party next to us was getting bread before we had even ordered. At this point, we decided that getting served was hopeless, and decided to leave. Also, what is up with the "cash only" policy, it's really inconvenient?
