Horrible Service!!!
First, our reservation was for 9pm and we were seated at 10pm. Once we were seated we overheard the waiter being told to take our orders as soon as we got the menus, which is very unfair since we waited an hour at the bar to be seated in the first place. The waiter was horrible, he rushed us and every time he approached us we were literally startled. His way of asking us if we wanted to order drinks was "Ya not drinking?!!" The food wasn't very good assuming they rushed to cook it. I got sick afterward. The bottle service at the club was also very unfair, they attempted to move us from our VIP spot after we already purchased two bottles, simply because two guys were willing to buy 1 more. I didn't know that the VIP table was under auction. This was very unfair since there were only two of them and my party had 15 people. They tried to move my 15 people to a table that seated four, and put these two guys in our vip spot that seated 7. Again, i didn't know it was an auction, after much time they finally agreed to let us finish our two bottles before we were moved. Ultimately we never had to move, but what we had to go through to stay there was unbelievable. To top everything off, we also had many extra charges on our bill for food we never ordered and tips we never approved. I could have gone somewhere else and had a better Birthday.

Avoid for Dinner
I was seeing a show with a friend and looked up HK restaurants that had a pre-show seating. This place sounded kinda fun and neither of us had tried it, so I made a reservation through Open Table for 6:00. We were the ONLY people there. The space was cool, but completely empty and dead. So odd, especially advertising itself as a pre-theatre restaurant (its on 57th St.), and the food was par for flavor and overpriced. Great wine list, but it didn't make up for the food. And the only other table seated while we were there was next to us, despite the abundance of vacant tables - and they mentioned finding it on Open Table as well...

eating in a church -- cool
I think the idea of transforming a former church building into a restaurant is pretty cool, I loved that high triangular ceiling with huge old beams and the bar where the choir used to be -- kinda eery and almost devilish. I know they use the place a lot for corporate functions and I think it works really well for those purposes. The food was pretty good too, although the wine list was on the expensive side, so not a great value overall.

Bustling, attractive space.
Took my wife here for a birthday dinner recently. Very pretty space. Service was a bit harried, but attentive. Full crowd on a Saturday night and they were running to keep up. It's an enormous space and that can make for a bit of noisy atmosphere, but if you can relax that, you should have a good time. The food was enjoyable and creative. We enjoyed ourselves, but didn't stay at the club as it was just too early and we were too full to stay and we were probably too old :) . I would go again.

Funky space
The funky decor in this renovated church is the main reason to go. The service was less friendly than they should have been given that the restaurant was close to empty. There were almost no vegan options - except three salads. Generally the chef will offer to make something vegan (generally not so difficult), but here, despite the fact that the restaurant had one other party (four summer interns at a bank having a glass of wine) he wouldn't. The food was good, though pretty generic, and fairly pricey. The manager was lovely and we had a great conversation about the space, but I wouldn't go back for dinner. Perhaps for a drink and dancing though.

Enjoyable night out
We went to Providence on a recommendation. Glad we did. Gorgeous decor, great service and even better food.
