I work a few blocks away and often order for delivery. It usually takes 30-45 minutes, but the last two times it's been 90 minutes eachduring what should be slow times of day (1030am). The food has been cold, the coffee burned, the order incorrect...when I called to discuss with the manager and there was a huge lack of concern. Will not order from here again.

This is one of the few places my boss will allow us to cater from for meetings, and they always do a pretty good job. The food is nothing spectacular, and I think it's a little on the expensive side, but they have great service, which means a lot when you need to make sure all your food is delivered and it looks good. I don't know if I would order this form myself for a normal meal, but I would easily recommend this place when you need something reliable.

everytime i order from online, i ask for slightly chopped salads because they just chop it to a pulp every single time. it comes delivered to me like baby food- chopping so small i cant even see my leaves. it just looks like cous cous.. who chops a salad to a pulp anyways?? its not called a salad anymore, it more like stuffing.

I can't rave enough about Printon 56. We had eaten there previously and always found great food at reasonable prices in a clean, pleasant atmosphere with excellent attentive service. So when we needed food catered for a small function of ours, we immediately thought of Printon 56. We were delighted, from start to finish. Guy handled the details for us and asked us what we wanted and then customized the final product to give us everything, and more, that we expected. The sandwich platters were decorated with flowers and the food was freshly prepared. The pasta salad and fresh salad were made that day and the cookie tray had fresh made cookies. All utensils, serving bowls and platters were provided and the items were ready at exactly the time promised. Our guests raved and asked where we obtained such delicous food. When told, a number of them said that they would have Printon 56 cater their next party. What else can we say except Printon earned and deserves five stars.

In NYC on business staying at a nearby hotel. I stumbled onto Printon 56 by chance on a late Sunday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and pleasant and the restaurant was clean and inviting. I ordered a salad that was customized to my preference. First you pick out the lettuce type (I chose spinach), then you tell the person at the prep area what you want to put in it. They had anything from meats, tofu, standard vegetables to sundried tomatoes, fruits and a host of dressings from which to choose. They also have a wide range of beverages, and other things. I highly recommend this place for a fresh salad that you can grab and go.

We had 5 people from work order there. None of the participants came away with a good review. The food is pre-made and the Roulade is nothing more than wrap you can get at any deli. They said it was a delicated flat bread, it was not. The chicken was good but on the whole the meal was disappointing.

We visit manhattan frequently and stay at the hotels in the 50s around 6th avenue. Midtown has a variety of upscale deli's. Perhaps the best known is mangia but there are plenty of others. None is better than printon 56, with it's near gourmet style hot dishes and incredible create your own salad bar. The friendly staff, which never winces when you ask to 'have it your way' rounds out the deal. Separate coffee bar wtih all the treats and beverages. Just a great place.
