I live in the area and didn't really notice this place until recently. It looks small from the outside but it's actually quite a long space and has a clean brunch-y cafe vibe. Had the french toast and fell in love - it is THE BEST french toast in the city! Two big chunks of challah bread that are sooo moist and delicious. You don't need any syrup and it almost eats like bread pudding. I've come back a few times since and the staff have always been super friendly and cool. I think they also have free wi-fi which is a bonus. It's never been crowded inside and I hope they stay in business. There are a few particular meals that I crave in the city and this is one of them.

Very cute place, both outside and inside. I had a great time when 3 of us came for Saturday brunch--not crowded at all, surprisingly. Menu is decently priced; I had the proscuitto omelette and my friend got one of the burgers. The fries there are awesome! Plus, topped it off with tasty hot buns (and they have other great-looking pastries there); the only downside is no free refills on coffee. Otherwise, fun atmosphere, good service and tasty food--perfect.

I had lunch here on a Thursday afternoon. It was not crowded, which was great. Service was friendly and fast. Most of all, the food was the best I ever had in a New York restaurant. Everything was fresh and tasted homemade. I had the Wild Mushroom-Barley soup, my friend had the Carrot-Ginger Soup (both delicious) and we shared a Grilled Chicken Sandwich which was made on Baguette which couldn't have been any fresher. Although we were already full, we couldn't resist the Blueberry muffin and Croissant for dessert, also very tasty. All in all, I can highly recommend this restaurant.

So far I have been there every weekend, for brunch .I like the fact that they serving breakfast all day. Even if it takes time to get the food its worth it! I'm glade they opened in the neighborhood, we needed something different, fresh, and delicious! P.S. Did you see the orange chairs! There so cute and unique!

The outside of the restaurant is deceiving. It looks cute and it was new so I thought I would get some take-out on a Saturday afternoon. The place was not that busy yet the service was chaotic. Waited 30 minutes for an eggs to go. I settled for whole milk in my coffee because they were out of skim. They offered me wheat toast, only 15 minutes later to tel me they were all out so I settled for white only to find when I got home they gave me 7-grain, dry, un-toasted with no condiments on the side.

I was excited to try a new brunch place in my neighborhood when I went to Prince Street Cafe on Saturday. The atmosphere was very laid back, but this also meant that it took about 15 minutes to get a menu and more for drink orders to be taken. The specialty coffees were very tasty, and the scone we had before our meals was delicious. Once our meals came out, after a long wait, the quality was mixed. My boyfriend's frittata was delicious and piping hot. However, my scambled eggs with potatoes and toast was almost room temperature. I think it would have been very good if it was hot but I can't say for sure, and considering how long it took to come out, I was certainly not going to send it back. It seems like they are still working out the kinks of being a new restaurant, and I will definitely try this cafe again, but I hope they can work out the timing a little better.

I happened upon this cafe over the weekend and I still can't believe how great it is. The bakery is amazing -- I'm still dreaming of cupcakes and the chocolate bread pudding (the best I ever had) -- plus the food is beyond great for the price. Try the fritatta (goat cheese, veggies and pesto!!) and the salmon wrap and pretty much any dessert on the menu. We also had the savory cheddar chive scones and they were so wonderful. I'm scanning the menu to see what I'm getting this weekend when I return!
