    Tasty, small, nice place

The mango lassi needed more mangoes, and more blending. The flavor was bland, and the mangoes got stuck on the tip of the straw. The carrot cake cupcake was really good. The butternut squash soup was really good. The chicken wrap wasn't in a normal wrap shape, and it kept dripping juice and corn niblets. The cafe con parne - well I can't judge because I don't know a lot about coffee. To me, I needed a lot of sugar in it. My friend had a chocolate croissant, and I could swear they microwaved it to heat it up. NEVER EVER microwave pastries or bread because they get hard and chewy! The service was very, very nice, but slow. The price was nice. I would stop in again, but wouldn't go out of my way.

    Taste the Gold

My friend Valerie has been talking up the Sturgeon sandwich forever & the Borsht. This place is a goldmine. Not a high traffic restaurant in a high traffic part of of SOHO. You can eat, you can do your work, and enjoy total peace. 3 Favorites: So the Sturgeon: its seared, lighter than salmon, maybe like the best ham of the sea on a baguette with grilled onions, a green garlic sauce, tomato, and some greens. The Borscht is hot: beets, cabbage, potatoes, with the addition of beef brisket thinly sliced into the soup, and dollop of sour cream. Frisee With Duck Confit poached egg, english peas, truffle vinaigrette. I over heard there's a liquor license on the way. Check it out b4 it gets popular

    Great Pasta, great deal

I went here with a friend and got the goat cheese and vegetable gnocchi. It was delicious and came with salad and a choice of bread. It was $12! Service was wonderful. Overall just a superb experience.

    really?

I like the idea of french fries looking better than they taste— however I have to disagree, french fries taste better than they look always.  Also the tuna burger is genius when you want and don't want a burger at the same time, this is perfect food for lunch on the job. It's practical and really good.

Fries look better than the taste

I work around the corner but nothing really drives me to eat at this place. I think its ok. The food looks better than what it actually tastes like. The burger looks mouth watering, but there wasn't much flavor and the fries were pretty disappointing. Haven't really tried the "cafe" coffee/dessert portion of the restaurant.

    Best Value in NYC

This place has the best food at a great price. You'll be hard pressed to find better, fresh food at this price. The pasta is fresh made and the breakfast is even better.

    excellent food for bargain prices

Food is really good and definitely a good value for the quality of food. Omelets are one of the best in the city! And the salad of duck confit with truffle oil vinegret is simply amazing!
