I was in Prime KO last night. Overall the food was excellent. The dishes were well presented, generous and really well cooked. Lots of different flavours and the appetizers are superb as is the sushi. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly, always keeping an eye on us. The decor is ok, but the space is cramped so expect to sit on top of the group at the next table and the music is loud so avoid sitting by the speakers. The problem was exacerbated by all the staff trying to squeeze through tight spaces and congregating, it felt a little like grand central. In the confusion we were also served dishes that we hadnt ordered a couple of times. That aside there was a quality product at a reasonable price. Worth a visit
I attended this restaurant with high expectations and they simply were not met. My experience at this establishment was less than ideal. The setting and atmosphere was the best part of the restaurant. They tried to very hard to make it have a Japanese feel to the place and did a decent job. But they clearly were trying to do tthis so that people would be distracted with the decor so they would not realize how small and unfulfilling the portions were for patrons. Do not plan on going to this restaurant if you want to get the most for your money. Very over prized and al the portions are small and come with absolutely nothing. My father ordered a steak and it came with a piece of lettuce. For $4o you think they could add a side dish. If you want great kosher food head to a different restaurant. I would highly recommend Les Marais. Better portion size, better service, and overall a better restaurant. Also if you have a small child do not come here as if the baby is making too much noise they will gladly tell you that there have been complaints about your child and that you need to do something about it. This restaurant needs work on their customer relations. I would never go back.

Was there last night and will go again asap. Decor is smart, ambiance is clean slick. We sat upstairs where long stretch of glass doors open for an alfresco feel on a gorgeous night. Service was professional but a bit slow week two tho. FAbulous selection of hot and cold starters well priced so we tried ceviche tacos, crispy rice spicy tuna, miso eggplant, a tofu dish - all excellent, perfect for my non carnivore craze. Sushi was primo! Salad with seaweed well dressed. The others each ordered different steaks, small but cooked to perfection. we tried one dessert - first rate pareve - warm chocolate cake, with a coffee quasi-icecreme and delicious almond crunch confection! The downstairs has great space, more tables, bar, sushi bar with DJ spinning hip music, mod scene, v contemporary! Def go now!

I went in expecting this place to be expensive but had heard it was more affordable. The menu is very confusing and hard to decipher what you are ordering. Our waiter was very nice and answered all of our questions but there wasn't much to choose from (could be that it's relatively early and they still have to figure certain things out). The portions were in no way too big, friends ordered steak and it came with zero sides and a lettuce leaf, a grilled tomato on top, and sauce. Sides we ordered came in small bowls. Atmosphere is great, restaurant looks great, but need to work on their food (there is no variety-wanted something as simple as a burger and they did not have it) and their menu layout. And yes, bathrooms definitely need signs!

was really impressed with this newcomer. never have really high expectations for new restos but the service at this place, and the food -- both were awesome. portions were almost too big. my girlfriend and i didnt expect to share and overordered a bit. still, gave us a chance to taste more things. well be back soon! ps: they need signs on the bathrooms. thought i was walking into a supply closet.
