Kosher steakhouse? more like walking into a private club. Pleasantly taken by surprise. The food and the service were great. I was there for a meeting with some big shots that needed kosher food and hit the nail on the head.

Steak had no taste, bread was old and stale. Baked apple was not baked inside but rather cold... This place is extremely overrated and overpriced!

My husband and I decided to finally try out the highly raved steakhouse, only to leave highly disappointed. First off, the hostess and the coat girl could use a glass of wine to cheer up a bit. I would expect the hostess of such an acclaimed steakhouse to be a little more professional. We were seated on the "quiet" side of the restaurant but our conversation was drowned by the volume of our lovely neighbors, which I understand the restaurant has no control of, nevertheless not the right place for a date night! Our waiter was rude and rushed to quickly get our orders without taking the time to explain the specials. I felt like I was in some cheap diner by his attitude. Again, completely unprofessional. The food was good though, no complains there. Frankly, this place is really not that worth it...maybe good for a business meeting if your boss is footing the bill, otherwise, skip it.

This was my first time at The Prime Grill. Friends had told me it was the best in NYC and the restaurant did not disappoint. The service was very good and the atmosphere was very nice. Beats anything in Boston (where I live) by a LOT! Pricy but worth it.

We went to Prime Grill dinner on a summer Monday at 815, with a reservation. We were given the choice of two tables -- one next to the kitchen in the aisle, the other squeezed in between two others (as hard as it it to believe, we didnt have the worse table -- another couple was forced to sit at a table where they had to sit alongside each other). We asked for another table, and were offered to go to 'their nearby restaurant, Solo', which is 10 blocks away. To make matters worse, halfway through our meal they started setting up for a large party next to us and lifting chairs and tables over my wife; after finally getting our waiter's attention [30 minutes later since he was busy setting up for the party], to have our plates cleared and a desert menu, he rushed us out. When we complained, we were told by the maitre'd that he agrees with us, but needs to make a living and is told to stuff people in. And all of this for $200 minus wine -- Stay away!
