Salt Bomb
We have eaten the Porchetta sandwiches at Porchetta before and enjoyed them (though not quite as good as the ones we had when we lived in Italy). We took out sandwiches yesterday in the late afternoon and found them to be so oversalted as to be almost inedible. In addition, the flavor of the rosemary in the herb mixture was so strong that it overwhelmed everything but the salt. Perhaps the restaurant needs more supervision as the owner has several other establishments.

Food Good, amount and price Bad
I went last year & really enjoyed the sandwich. Just went again (early August) & found the sandwich meat smaller and it's $10. Really not worth the price. Meat is delicious but too little for too much.

Best porchetta but avoid everything else
I eat their porchetta sandwich once every two-three month. I would eat it more often but it would be too much for my heart. I love the porchetta but all the other dishes seem to based on burnt porchetta leftovers...

I loved it!
Not having had a porchetta sandwich before the price went up, I loved it! I guess I am used to paying $8.95 for ordinary sandwiches, so $10 for a yummy, crunchy, greasy pork sandwich isn't outrageous to me. I have to go back to taste other menu items, which looked delicious.

They have lost their way
I will not deny them this - the meat is absolutely fantastic. It is delicious and savory and salty and packs a punch of herbs and spices and everything good you'd want in porchetta. Which makes it all the more sad that Porchetta has bought into their own hype more than anyone else. Their prices go up and their serving size shrinks. This is no longer a hearty celebration of pork - it is now an overpriced snack. If money is no object, then it is most definitely worth the trip. If you were hoping a $10 sandwich would be slightly more substantial than a bread basket you'd find at any other restaurant on this block, you will be disappointed.

good pork, bad price
I dont usually buy into media hype, but i'm a sucker for pork-- and they've got some good pork. However for the $10, I expected more than a what looked 1.5x larger than a hotdog bun. Seasoning was awesome, crunch was good, and there wasnt a line when i got there. I wouldnt bother going back though, I'd rather get some lechon from a spanish or filipino spot and make my own sandwhich for much less.

The incredible shrinking sandwich!!
I used to order from this place all the time but don't see myself continuing if their porchetta sandwich keeps shrinking!!! An order of a porchetta sandwich and crispy potatoes with burnt ends is over 16 bucks which is ok for a fantastic sandwich. And it was. Until tonight. The new 10 dollar porchetta sandwich is barely 4.5 inches long. Over the past few months it's undergone a significant micro-sizing. Same great taste but now completely overpriced for what you get. this makes me sad.
