Best in NYC
I come from Australia, where Thai is extremely popular and delicious. When I first moved to NYC, I was devastated at the poor quality of Thai food. That is until I found this place. It is the most authentic, delicious in NYC and I have tried many.

Great thai food!
I think the food is great and is one of my favorite thai places in the city. I live have eaten at the restaurant and also order delivery a couple times and find the delivery timing to be rather quick. My favorite dish is the curry fried rice it is unique to Pongsri and very delicious!

I'm sad
Pongsri just moved from 2nd and 18th to the West Side and I am totally crushed:( I don't know who to order from anymore...I cry b/c it was my favorite restaurant on the East Side and I single handedly paid the salaries of at least two of their employees. To summarize: Excellent food, great place, I miss it.

Best. Thai. Ever.
I am in looooooove with Pongsri. It literally is the best Thai food I have ever eaten. There are so many haters out there, too, who say they don't like it, and I understand that people are entitled to their opinions, but they are just plain wrong. My personal favorites are: Pad-See-Ew; Pra-Ram-Long-Song; Red Curry; and Green Curry. I like to sit down and eat there, but I often don't have time, so delivery and take out are awesome options as well! I also have to say, I do NOT like Pad Thai... it is just gross to me, but at Pongsri, I adore it... it is delicious! Try this place out, and don't listen to the haters!

Lightning fast delivery, skip the trip.
The restaurant itself is noisy and the tables are too close together for my liking, but the delivery guy gets to me in an average of 15 minutes, so this place is my local choice for Thai food. The food is great, the pad see-ew with chicken is probably up there with the best I've had. The spring rolls are, as someone stated here already, just wrapped and fried glass noodles but they're delightfully crispy and come with a tasty sauce. The pricing is okay but not great, and is pretty much average for Thai.

Disappointing Delivery
From a "great" Thai restaurant, I expect great pad thai at the very least. It was dry (and I even ordered with extra sauce!) and overcooked and had 4 pieces of chicken in the whole thing. The spring rolls are just glass noodles wrapped and fried. Not worth it. I gave them a second chance but won't make the mistake of ordering from here again.
