Don't go - it's the type of place made to drag in tourists thinking they are in Little Italy. Judging from the food, they don't expect anyone to come back to this place again.

went here as a group of three, at lunch time on a tuesday. There were three other groups there, we ended up here because Lombardi's was closed. On the bright side the beer was really cold! The food was mediocre at best, the pizza very doughy, and the cheese greasy. The service here really needed the review though. Ordered a small plain pizza, after 30 minutes i notices that there was a small pizza going into the oven, when i asked the waiter if that my pizza he said yes they lost the ticket. without apologising, or letting us know ahead of time. The other two diners has french fries, and a slice of pizza, which was finished before my pizza even came out! In addition, while sitting in this dive, we saw the waiter leaving outside on numerous occasions to pet a dog outside, and not washing his hands before he served food. There were also several staff members coming in with a red pepper in their hand, or a bag of chicken breasts. Seeing all these things really did not make the pizza i had to eat alone very appatizing!

Try it once and you will never forget. The sauce is superb and the crust perfect...the atmosphere isn't anything special though (it's a pizzaria with ample seating indoors...some tables outside during summer :) The pizza is amazing!

This was my first time having vodka pizza and let me tell you...it was delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves pizza!

I consider myself quite a pizza snob and I searched for a while before I found Pomodoros. For the Tribeca/Chinatown area, it was surprising that there aren't that many decent pizza places around. When I first tried Pomodoro in early 2006, the quality was top notch. I have to say that in recent tries, the pizza crust has become a little too thick and doughy. I'm hoping these were aberrations and not indicative of a wider trend. Delivery hasn't been super fast but then again, I order at peak times. Otherwise, it's all you can ask for from a pizza place.Try the brick oven style!
