I really love this place, food is always good, fresh and delicious !!no wonder why they've last 25 years in business. I recommend the combination polish platter, their home cooked favorites in one dish.

I've been going here for 10 years now, and I must say the food is not only delicious, but very consistent too. As others said, it really has that authentic Polish/European taste. The cheese blintzes are out of this world. I like the breaded chicken cutlet as well. My mom's usual is the Ukrainian borsch and Potato pierogi. Overall delicious!

Simply delicious! The best stuffed cabbage ever! Just as "babcia" used to make. (babcia in polish means grandma).. It brought me back to my childhood! Great food, the decor is Nice and simple ( i love the brick wall), outstanding service and the best of all very reasonable prices!

Love this place! For 10/15$ you really have big diner/ lunch! Cheap and delicious food!

I went there based on good reviews I found online, but my experience was rather disappointing. Food is just very average at best, decor, ambiance is very simple (which is fine if they are going to have something else going for them, like good food for example, but I don’t think this is the case), hanging electrical wires in plain sight in the dining area are not an appealing décor. I had white borsch soup, staffed cabbage, it was served with a platter of pickled salads, red/white cabbage, coleslaw, beets. Staffed cabbage was average if that, the salads were dreadful. My companion had cheese/fruit blintzes which were better than my dish, but still just average.

I felt like I was eating at my polish grandmother's house! The food is fresh, delicious, authentic; just outstanding. The service is wonderful. The atmosphere is quaint, and the portions are huge! The prices are very reasonable and the place is immaculate. Not to mention, Polonica is such a refreshing change from all of the standard Italian restaurants in the area. That goodness Polonica brings some character and authenticity to Bay Ridge!!

Reminds me of living in the East Village in the early 90s. Fantastic perogies, borscht, chicken cutlet, potato pancakes. The salads that come with every entree are great. They even make a compot.
