    Late & greasy

Food arrived in over an hour, ciabatta bread tasted like the inside of a dirty oven, greasy. The quality of the food has certainly experienced a decline recently and I don't think I'll be ordering from here again.

    i approve

food is well prepared and very good/authentic. been here twice so far and have not been disappointed. was not served bread...which sucks but we were too full to care at that point. great value for what you get and the waiter was very honest about the dishes. would def recommend trying this place

    Love it

Came in during the snowstorm to warm up and had some of the steak that the waiter recommended. The waiter said that the new chef was trying out steak recipes and wanted feedback. The steak was a Shell steak served on a skillet.... loved it. Really hope they put it on the menu. Definitely plan to come back.

    Lukewarm

On this cold night, we went to Polonia in search of warm comfort food that wouldn't break our budget. Well, sometimes all you get is what you pay for - which in our case was consistently tepid food. The soup only had a passing acquaintance with the chicken, the meatloaf was dry, the kielbasa was strangely spiced... in short, our meal was affordable, but definitely not comforting.

    Jak w kraju

I'm Polish and I've once visited this restaurant. It was pleasant experience. Good Polish dishes at moderate prices.

    Apple Cake

I've only ordered dessert, but the apple cake is amazing. It's almost as good as like babcia's (grandmother) and considering I'm not back in Oz for a while, this will be my taste of home.

    Welcome To Your Second Home!

This really feels like a second home! Great restaurant, especially for someone Russian or Ukranian like me who lives in the East Village and wants to try their hometown food. Reccomended for people who live in Village View. Breakfast is their specialty. If you want to treat yourself to a good breakfast, go there.
