My GF, her work friend and I ate dinner at Nation last night. We sat upstairs in a dining room rather than downstairs in the deafeningly loud main bar area. The floor upstairs still vibrated due to the heavy bass from the speakers on the ground floor, though. Our waitress was appallingly bad. Despite serving only 2 tables upstairs, she waited for a long time before taking our order, and we waited an eternity before the food arrived. She didn’t bring water for all at the table, and she did not offer any refills until we had finished eating. As for the food, my girlfriend did not like her salad with seared tuna. Her colleague was content with her Caesar salad. My burger was pretty tasty and probably would have been delicious had it arrived hot. Tragically, the spiced, waffle-cut fries were lukewarm at best. (Darned lousy waitress!) For a burger and a beer or other pub grub in midtown, Nation seems fine. Just hope that you get a better server than we had.

I randomly stopped by for lunch one day and let me tell you. THe grilled chicken wrap was delicious! IT was so fresh and flavorful and left me completley satisfied. The prices are a little high for lunch, but it was a great little spot. Also, the ice tea was superb! I would go back here in a second!

Work in the neighborhood and go there all the time. the food is consistent, and the staff is excellent. make sure to go there after work also as the tunes are great and the place is lots of fun.

I've only had lunch here (12-15 times). Lunch is served at the street-level bar and on a second floor (which is really on the third floor), which is a walkup. Always go upstairs. The panini are perfect for lunch. Have the delicious, sweet meatloaf if you can take a nap when you get back to the office. The burger should get at least an honorable mention on any "best burger" list. I can't comment on salads (I don't eat them) or the desserts (because I have the meatloaf).
