I came here with my boyfriend and his mother and grandmother for Mother's Day. We all really enjoyed our meal. The bean bruschetta to start was simple was full of flavor. The pastas were very authentic. It's a great casual place.

Came here last night for my boyfriend's birthday. Perfectly cooked mussels to start; he ordered the veal marsala and I had the "penne special" with chorizo in a tomato cream sauce with ricotta sprinkled on top. our plates were licked clean by the end of the meal and the service was nothing to complain about either. bread and water were filled throughout the night and we never had to ask once. odd choice of music playing tho (the entire Shins album); didn't really fit the mood. would go back in a heartbeat tho. the food made me really happy.

I have seriously never ever had such good service for such good food as I have had at Po. We ate there last night for maybe the third or fourth time, two people splitting an appetizer, a side, a pasta, and a dessert, and everyone from the host/manager to the server to the bussing staff were fun, engaging, and attentive to our needs. And of course the food blew my freaking mind. The sauteed escarole with lemon was maybe the best escarole I've ever had the amatriciana with boar bacon was spectacular, and the special pear dessert (a pear poached in red wine, with sweet mascarpone and chocolate syrup) was everything a dessert should be. I would basically move in to this restaurant and live there.

The food is always good. Service is great both at a table and dinner at the bar. Try the cod!!

Every time I have eaten here, the service has been first class. Food is excellent, not too complicated and priced fairly. There are some good wines at very reasonable prices too - we normally have the Chianti.

I had tried to get a reservation at Po last year and not been successful. So I was very pleased when my daughter told me that her boyfriend had snagged one for our party. The dining experience was terrific. We shared several salads and other appetizers for a first course, and did the same thing with pastas and fish for our main course. Every dish was first rate. The service was outstanding. Wines are very fairly priced, and we had an excellent bottle for $30. I was so impressed with the experience that I invited friends to accompany us for a 2nd meal a week later. Again everything was first rate. This is now one of my favorite NYC restaurants. I just hope my positive feedback won't make it harder to get in the next time I want to!
