    Not just another Pizza joint

I work in the neighborhood and we are always looking for new and different places to go. We gave this place a shot and I have to tell you - it was AMAZING! The pizza is brick oven so the crust is thin and crispy of course; however, this is no wimpy slice. You can actually hold it, with toppings, and it doesn't wilt or fall apart. I have no clue how they do this! We also shared a family style salad and the serving was generous enough to feed more than the 4 of us that were there. All said - I highly recommend the place. Can't wait to go back and try the pastas!

    An Excellent Choice

I was very happy with my visit to Plum Pizzeria and Bar. They serve whole pies only. Their pastas are of excellent quality and their salads as well. I had an insalata greca, a small pie with sausage and onion and the black linguine with shrimp pasta (i cannot recall the name). I must say with all honesty that this is one of my favorite places. The pizza was easily one of the best in the city, the greca salad made fresh with feta cheese tomato cucumbers olives onions and peppers and the olive oil tasted amazing. The pasta was a dream. I am very glad that a place like that opened on 2nd Ave. and those of us who live in the area know what im talking about (you cannot eat good italian food anymore). Me and my girlfriend also shared a bottle of a south African wine which tasted incredible. The stuff was fun and friendly. I have already ordered a few times delivery since my visit there. I cant wait to go back after i come back from my vacation. Cheers!

The best pizza in the east village.

Tried the ricotta and pepperoni..HOLY S**T, AMAZING. Also shared a salad which was ridiculous. To add a side note this place offers a dark belgium beer named GRIM something or other which is my new favorite dark beer...you must go. Awesome.....
