These guys have the BEST wings in the Village, and possibly in all of NYC! Great value, fast delivery, friendly service and nice counter staff to chat with if you are picking up and waiting for your order. Not a "gourmet" eat-in establishment...obviously...but you absolutely CANNOT beat these wings!!

Ive been going to pluck u's for a number of years now, I dont think I will ever stop. The wings are beyond perfection, with a distinct spicyhot buttery taste, and rather than bbq the wings themselves are fried to perfection, for a taste that is found seldomly in few other places. Ive never, in all my years of wing eating encounterd a place that serves such cheap, fantastic wings, truely the king. Just dont go expecting a 5 star restraunt, this is a pure wing house, everything else (save for the buffalo wings, mozzerla sticks and a few others) is second rate. The atmosphere is gritty, the service is simply you picking up your food and ordering it, but the wings cant be beat.

This place has hands down the best wings in NYC. The gold sauce is to die for, and if you're a regular the people there know you and are super nice. It's not really the sort of place you go to eat, but the food can't be beat.

I hate giving this review but the food was poor. The service was good but that's about it. The place was a bit unclean, small and messy. The wings were cooked but the sauce, if you can call it that was almost watery, with a buttery/oily flavor. The blue cheese with the celery (no carrots) tasted like watery ranch with fake bleu cheese 'cubes' in it. The fries, which I asked for to be well done, were not even cooked thoroughly and were salty beyond belief. I certainly won't be going back.

I ordered wings at 1 in the afternoon to be delivered on Super Bowl sunday. I understand that tons of people had ordered wings and that it was stressful, so when my delivery time passed by an hour, I decided to call to check to make sure that my order had gone through and that everything was right with the information I gave. However, when I called, a woman who was not courteous, not helpful and not willing to listen answered the phone. She asked what my name was, and since the person I spoke to earlier did not ask for my name, she did not want to help. I stayed on the phone with her and asked her repeatedly to check telephone numbers and address but she insisted it was impossible that my name was not taken. When I asked to talk to anyone else who might have known more information or if orders might have gotten misplaced she told me that was also impossible, that she had every order in her hands and that mine did not exist. In a final plee I gave her my address to check but instead of doing that she took another phone call and acted like she had checked for my order and insisted it did not exist . At that point I gave up, and had to go to the grocery store to but some very unappetizing frozen food. An hour after I had called my order showed up at my door. I then had to spend ten minutes with the delivery guy explaining what happened, tell him I had not money left over and then explain to him that I was not going to use my debit card because as I had said five times I had to get other food. He called the place and made me stand with him for another ten minutes as he relayed my story (or so I assume) back to someone else. I would have had no problem with the wings coming that late, if I had known they were coming. When I called earlier today to complain to a manager about how awful this girl was on the phone, so that perhaps she'd be told to learn better phone etiquette and remember the customer is always right and not assume someone is making up a wing order. The girl I spoke to yelled and complained about how busy it was and then how lots of orders had to be returned the night before. She told me at first that I had probably been speaking to a manager but then later blamed it on girls she brought into work with her. I let her have her say but she wouldn't let me have mine and I had to hang up with no resolve. It was the super bowl but that didn't mean I shouldn't get competent service over the phone.

the best wing in nyc. the gold sauce is to die for. the death sauce is truly deathfulll.wow.
