The Best
I've ordered 100's of chicken pot pies over the years in many pubs through out the USA. This is the best I've ever had.

Best Burger Around
PJ's has the best burger in NYC. The meat is fresh cooked to perfection. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

A classic NYC business lunch/dinner/bar joint in midtown
Clark's is a landmark restaurant. The big office building you see hulking over it was built to accommodate it, not vice-versa. Clark's is known for it's bar, which is where you enter/pass through on your way to the dining rooms (except if you take the side entrance and go to Clark's 2nd fl room). The crowd - which mushrooms VERY fast at 12n - is a mostly business crowd, with some neighborhood regulars. Clark's has some of the BEST hamburgers here in NYC. it's what I've only ever eaten in all the years I've been there. You can't go wrong with one (plain or otherwise). The menu - with the day's specials written on the blackboards on the wall is a 'steak & chops' type which has been drawing people to Clark's for over 100 years for it's taste & quality. I always enjoy a couple of drinks from the bar, which has some of the best bartenders (a dying breed - sigh). It's not cheap, but, it's not outrageous. You will leave with a full and happy tummy.

Not PJ Clarkes
Once upon a time this was great place with burgers made to order, home fries that were the best in the city and simple deserts that were the perfect ending to a great meal. The new ownership has no clue about what they have destroyed.

Not worth it
The smallest burgers I have ever eaten and all it comes with is a pickle. Everything else is extra including fries. I couldn't believe the price of this place. You get much better value and food at a fast food place and that's saying something. When you mention bad value to staff, you'll get told this is how they have been doing it for 130 years. Looks like they don't keep up with the times. I'll never be back to this very over priced wanna be steakhouse joint..

Love Doug the bartender
This place is always busy, and full of business guys after work meeting for a drink and some burgers. You can sit at the bar and if it's too crowded you have to stand by the oyster bar and watch the guy shuck oysters. Very fun lively atmosphere. The drinks are good, and the burgers are great. They're not huge and overbearing, they're simple burgers with onion and lettuce. Fries on the side.

Not exactly what I hoped for
I brought a client in from UK who wanted a great burger. Well, he actually told me how disappointed he was with the quality of the food. I knew what he was talking about. The burger was pitifully small and the looked like it jumped from the freezer to grill to a the bargain price looking bun. Shame on you for advertising that you have the best burgers in town. You Don't Aside from the prices,Your really three steps under TGIF. and 1 step under the fast food guys.
