This newly opened neighborhood spot is just what the west village needs and is starting to lose due to rent increases. If you want amazingly fresh/authentic Italian food this is your spot! While you enjoy your pizza that is made in front of you with a light as air crust you will hear chattering in Italian. The Spezie and Sopressata pizzas and calzone are my favorite. The Masseria salad is amazingly fresh and if you love Burrata this is your place! But it's the people that really tie this unique neighborhood pizza/wine bar together. You feel like you're coming to see old friends. Since opening day in Oct this has become a part of my weekly dining routine. And I can't order in bc the in-house experience is too rewarding. Plus, they are the most accommodating spot for large groups/parties.

Ate there just when they opened. the atmosphere was young, exciting and comfortable. the food was terrific, pizza that you cannot get anywhere else, an amazing smoked mozzarella pizza. The salads were unique and scrumptious. Great place to meet friends and have a good time. The service was terrific.

I must admit that their pizza is delicious (excellent crust), but why pay $20 for an individual pie? You can get just as good a FULL pie for the same price in too many places to count. This is not Long Island where this is the only good pizza in town. And the house wine was mediocre for $10 a glass-- and a stingy glass too!
