Good Pizza
In an area where there are very few quality pizza places, this is pretty good. Crust is very good .

Not very Delightful
There aren't that many good pizzerias in the downtown/Lower Manhattan area...but this place makes pretty good pizza, heros & calzones. So, it's a shame that I'm going to have to search for another pizzeria to frequent. You see, I recently had a bad experience with the staff at this joint. Long story short: I ordered two calzones (one Spinach & Ham and a Pepperoni). I was told that they don't have pepperoni calzones. I pointed out that it was the 1st one listed in the calzone section. Then, he said, "We don't make it!" I then asked for him to take a cheese calzone, slice it open & add some pepperoni slices in it. The same thing happened with my order - I had to tell him to slit open a cheese calzone and add some spinach & ham. He reluctantly complied. Then, when it was time to pay, the guy behind the register gave me a total price that was significantly more than what's listed on their printed takeout menu (and, their in-house menu that's above the counter doesn't list everything nor does it have all the prices). I told him that the pepperoni should be $6 and the Spinach & ham shouldn't be more than $7.50. He said, "The prices just went up!" "Since when?" I asked. "Recently." "Where's the sign indicating a price change?" "Where are your new printed menus?" "How come your in-house menu doesn't list everything?" I inquired. "Speak to management," said the clerk. When I agreed, he slyly remarked, "He ain't in." Had one of those calzones not been for co-worker, I would have just walked out ... but, we were starved for lunch. So, I bit my lip and paid the extra bucks even though it was unjustified. I will never go back to Pizza and Pasta Delight ever again. It was certainly not very delightful experience.

Great pizza!
We get take-out pizza from here all the time and love it! there are a couple of other pizza places nearby but this is by far our favourite. The other meals on the menu are fine, but the pizza is the best.

Good pizza
My husband and I were just visiting for the week. We came across them while we were walking around. I had a slice of pepporoni and my husband had a calzone. It was so good that we decided to try delivery to our hotel the next night. It was fast and easy and the cost wasted unreal. I would definetly recomend Pizza and Pasta Delight to everyone.

RE: when I went here it was the bestt
I don't know about toppings costing a lot of money, but when I went there it was inexpensive and tasty. The pizza is good, but the spaghetti and other meals were better. the service is friendly once they get to know you. it's a nice little local hang out and I miss being there.

My Standbye
I have lived in the neighborhood my entire life. Over the years I have had different favorites but they have either close, changed owners or changed ingredients. But Pizza & Pasta Delight has been consistent over all these years. The sauce might not be my favorite but it tastes fresh and high quality. The cheese is a little droopy but again, actually tastes like mozzarella should. It's also the cheapest pizza pie that I've seen in the neighborhood, people are friendly enough, pizza(and rice balls) are better than most. The atmosphere? I personally prefer a dingy old pizza place that hasn't been updated since the 70's to one of those pompous "gold curtain rods" places where you pay extra for their cheap ugly furnishings. I don't like paying more than $10 for a pizza pie, but if I have to then I'm going to buy from here. GOOD PIZZA.

Beware toppings
Just moved downtown and am randomly trying pizza places tried this one and ordered a scicilian. When the delivery came I was shocked by the cost coming to $30 and came to realize they charge $4.50 for each topping. 1 of the toppings was mushrooms and they were canned mushrooms. If you are going to charge 4.50 per toppings they should fresh and from the best ingredients. For spending $30 on 1 pizza it should be top quality. Very disappointed. This was as basic of a pizza place you can find in the city. Will not go here again.
