A Nessecary Evil
In the city that never sleeps there are very few places north of 125th that will deliver after 11PM. So i end up ordering from Pizza Haven more often than I'd like. The Pie is thin, dry, and poorly seasoned. The sandwiches and other dishes are pretty ordinary. They get my order wrong about 1/2 the time. On the other hand they Deliver till 1am... if the right guy answers the phone.

Truly among the Best
Great Pizza, I recommend getting it well done, but either way it is classic New York City style pizza. Good calzones, and meatball subs. Not a place to "go to" for dinner, but good for lunch or a quick slice (not for sitting), but you are going to order delivery anyway. Its great, Enjoy.

Pizza Haven has a soft place in my heart for it's history and neighborhood service. But nothing has increased since the time I started going there as a kid. You get the swags on deliveries. The place needs some new chairs and tables. The sauce is too sloppy. I wish it grew up as I did, but unfortunately it hasn't.
