The crust: devoid of crispiness, too thick, doughy, undercooked. The sauce: flavorless and probably out of a can. The cheese: also flavorless and cheap. Overall, it has the consistency of microwaved pizza and virtually no flavor at all. Never again.

Need I say more? We're looking for a new pizza place. This one charged me $5 extra for extra cheese and $5 extra for sausage. Got very little of either, and the sausage was as tasteless as the rest of the heavy, bready, doughy mass. The search goes on!

I love this pizza place, it's my new favorite. I've lived in the neighborhood for about a little over a year, but I just managed to try La Grolla this week. It's delicious! I haven't tried their flat pizza, but the ones made with the thicker bread are delicious! They make some of them with Ricotta instead of tomato sauce, which could definitely be weird, and a turn off (I don't even like Ricotta), but it works! Delicious! Really fresh tasting with fun new flavors. The service is also super friendly - your pizza gets brought to you on this little wood pan thing, and you pay when you're done eating. Lovely neighborhood joint!

Yes to this special pizza! Everything served with care. Great pizza toppings and combinations. Feel sorry for those who don't stray from a regular slice. Yum on the UWS!

We couldn't figure out if the pizza was cooked or not, but since it tasted like cooked bread (and nothing else) we figured to just eat the pasta we got which wasn't the one we ordered.

the only reason this pizza has some good reviews is because the service is extremely friendly. however, this doesn't make up for the tasteless pizza

This Upper West Side gourmet pizzeria is the best discovery in Manhattan. The pizzas are fantastic and the prices are very good. I just love the broccoli rabe and spicy sopressata. The vegetable lasagna is also fabulous.
