Frequent delays of over an hour, and once a delay of a full two hours despite repeated phone calls. Food isn't too bad for the style, but you have to get it in person.

Better than in Israel. Enough said.

Best Kosher Shawarma in tri-state area. Been to many places and none compare.

I'm very happy to have Pita off the Corner nearby. They have really authentic and tasty falafel and shwarma sandwiches with very nice portions. Yes, the meat entrees are a bit pricey, but you get a lot of really good food and a taste that is hard to find elsewhere.

Maybe there is a better falafel place in New York, but i certainly have not discovered it. This reminds of the places in Israel. The best deal is the falafel plate for about $12 - enough for two meals and you get to fill a large plate with the desired vegetables for the sandwich. Everything very fresh, falafel balls made perfectly, and you get about 10 of them. They seem very rushed and sometimes order mistakes are made, which is the only down side.

Consistently good food and great service. Best neighborhood Kosher restaurant.

We order from Pita regularly and never have been disappointed: grilled meats are done perfectly, and the Israeli salad bar is outstanding. Service is prompt. I eat kosher, and expect to pay more, but Pita on the Corner is very reasonable by any standard, and I notice the most of the customers are non-Jewish locals. The chicken soup is terrific.
