Worst delivery experience ever
Took over 1 hour to get my order a few blocks away. I called to see what was going on after a 1/2 hour and was told it left. So I waited another 1/2 hour and called again, being assured my food will still be hot. Well, the food was cold, there was coke spilled inside the salad, they forgot my dessert, and STILL tried to keep the money. The food was dropped and the guy did offer to make new food but after waiting an hour I wasn't prepared to wait yet another hour. So I asked for a refund. The place is fine for carry out - actually quite tasty - but NEVER do delivery here. It's really the worst delivery experience I ever had.

Mediocre Attempt
This is not by any means authentic food. It is catered to a diluted customer base (which can be expected since we're in Brooklyn not Beirut). Anyway I have yet to find a place as good as Mamoun's in the city. Pita Hut certainly didn't compare.

Good take out joint
Though there are afew tables this is essentially a take out joint and as such has fresh, nicely prepared food.. I do eat meat but you are better off with chicken or vegetable dishes here... the lamb stuff is often that ground mystery meat.. Try the vegetarian lasagna in the refrigerated glass.. yeah they will nuke it.. but it was delicious.

delicious but too saucy
With so many inexpensive and delicious mediterranean restaurants in the area, it's hard to pick a favorite. If pressed, I would go with Olive Vine, but Pita Hut is pretty good too (not to mention, more convienently located for me), and kind of fusion-y to boot. I've been happy with everything I've gotten there, but man do they go overboard with the sauce when you order a pita sandwich. Unless you like your pitas to be so drenched in sauce that it falls apart when you lift it, I would recommend asking them to cut back on the sauce--Olive Vine sometimes has this problem too. The juicer drinks I've had are good, but nothing to write home about.

Tasty Treats
Pita Hut has amazingly fresh ingredients and is a great bargain. It is healthy, delicious and authentic Mediterranean. Always ask for extra pita if you get hummus though...I always get delivery since it is small inside of the shop. The people are nice and they also have a great raw juice bar...
