    Grilled what

I thought the food here was supposed to be healthy. To my surprise the grilled chicken is actually marinated in mayo. For those who are trying to eat a low cal meal, this is pretty unacceptable.

Best delivery I've had in awhile

I'm very surprised at the other reviews this place has. I ordered from here 2 nights ago, and the food was delicious. I had the lamb rice bowl; they were generous with the lamb, rice was perfectly cooked, arugula was fresh and had just enough feta. My boyfriend had the Tuscany chicken paninni and he couldn't get enough! The falafel balls were crispy. My boyfriend really liked their tahini in particular. With their 20% off special, what a great value. Will definitely be ordering from there quite often. Thanks!

    Here's another "never again"...

Took forever to get hummus and falafel "platter" which was over $10, ended up 5 falafels thrown on some hummus w/pita...no lettuce, no tomato, no nothing to make it a platter.

Food is not good any longer

I have not placed an order from Pita Grill in a while. I have always enjoyed, from Pita Grill, the Falafel platter or a Falafel sanwich; and the babaganoush. Today I was in the mood for a Falafel, so I ordered a sandwich and an order of babaganoush. Honestly, what a mistake! The falafel did not have the slightest taste of garlic or even chick peas - blah! The babaganoush tasted like mayo and lemon juice. The pita was unappetizing and the tahini tasted like mayo and ketchup; a cheap version of French dressing. (I know that some of the prodcuts are mayo base, but it's used for texture not flavor.) My other favorite is hummus, thank God I did not order it. I will not spend/waste my money on this product again.

    Never again

I used to frequent this place all the time. I ordered for the first time in over a year. An hour went by, and they claimed they delivered it. Then another half an hour and they said the man was on his way. Finally after 2 hours a cold order came. Never give these guys your credit card because they charge in advance. I thought that with their renovation, they had changed for the better. The moral is never get delivery from these guys.

make sure you have a lot of time to spare if you order in

i order in from here every once in a while, when i have 40 or more minutes to spare for the delivery to come. in nyc that's unheard of. i enjoy the grilled chicken rice bowl, hummus and pitas, and sweet potato fries. sometimes the fries come pretty soggy but i love sweet potato fries so it doesnt really phase me since it's usually a treat i got for myself. i love the rice bowls though and the dressing they give. the hummus and pitas is generous and delicious. all this being reason enough for me to wait so long for a delivery from them. definitely overpriced for what it is but again i usually do it when i really crave it.

    Go to a halal truck

Expensive, not great tasting, and inauthentic.
