Huge Dissapointment
I heard so many great things, but unfortunately the service was terrible, and the food was mediocre. I dont think I'll ever go back. The chicken in my chicken shishkebob sandwich was particularly bad.

Great Shawarms, not so great otherwise
Got the Sharwarma platter. Amazing. Seriously good. Only knock was that there was a lot of gristle. Everything else that came with the plate was not so great. Burnt rice, old-tasting salad. But with Shawarma and tahini that good, I'll be going back! It's really that tasty.

The best homemade pita bread
Love the homemade pita bread here. Fluffy and soft. Falafel is fresh and very tasty here. Service can be a bit slow during lunch rush hour, but that's to be expected. Love the pickles here too!

Yummy food!
This place has really good falafel. Grape leaves are good too and reasonably priced. make sure you get your sauces for the falafel sandwich on the side, or it will fall to pieces before you are halfway through. Their green mint sauce is to die for..I wish could get some packed and take it home. But the mean-looking waitresses don't look like they will be pleased with the idea..:)

Good food, poor service
Although their food was fairly good, it took almost 2 hours for them to deliver. The lady taking order was rude and impatient. She gave the delivery person incorrect address, letting him wondering on the street, and did not bother to call. The 0.5 rating for Service only goes to the poor delivery guy.

Best falafel in the city
This place has the best falafel I've ever had. It's much better than mamoun's which is generally the restaurant many new yorkerss tout for its falafel. Get the falafel wtih everything and the borekas and you have yourself a fantastic lunch.

A homey experience
Be careful of soup getting spilled on you by stressed waitresses. Although I love talking to the waitresses they are 100% Israeli. I eat here twice a week, and I have tried almost everything on the menu. Stay away from the Hommous and the Baklawa. Get the chicken kabob or the lamb kabob, and the chicken soup is good too although the piece of chicken isn't very large.
