The chickpeas and spinach soup is to die for. Service was very attentive and the portions are perfect! We will revisit often!

I am NEVER disappointed at Pisticci's and I've been coming here since it opened. The most basic spaghetti and meatballs dish is impeccable. The maltagliatti with lamb, spinach and ricotta never fails. I once had the special of spaghettini with zucchini and stuffed zucchini blossoms and it was brilliant. I know for a fact they are particular about their wines so the carafe is perfect for the table. Sometimes tears well up in my eyes while I'm eating. I just love this place so much.

The food, service and atmosphere make you feel right at home. It's a great place for a date or a night out with friends. The staff is so friendly. Pisticci also supports local artists each month or so displaying and selling new artwork from up and comers. They take advantage of their location just next door to the Manhattan School of Music. On Wednesday nights they have opera and on Thursday nights they have live jazz! They also can accommodate large parties. I can't say enough about this place, my husband and I eat here about once a week.

You truly feel like you've found a hidden treasure when you go to this restaurant. I've had the artichoke appetizer and the mushroom pasta - both are delicious. I've never had a friend order something there they didn't love!

I don't think enough people know about this place so that it can still qualify as 'hidden,' but it's not easy to get a table. The food is really really good. I've been going off and on for the last 3 or 4 years and it hasn't really fallen off. The food is of a great quality, especially for the price. I mostly stick with the pastas and stay away from the main dishes because they are cheaper and just as filling. The maltagliatti with lamb is a standard. Their desserts are also really good. Try the iced tea - mmm. My friends from the all over the city will always be happy to meet my Inwood butt up here. My one complaint is that they haven't really changed the menu since I started going. Come on guys, let's see what else you can do! I guess they just stick with what works.

I was living on the UWS for several months before finding out about Pisticci. A friend suggested it to me one evening and my life was changed forever!! My boyfriend and I have been going there once a week ever since! The atmosphere is great, and the food is fabulous and inexpensive. Give Pisticci a try...you won't regret it!
