Great Seafood on Flatbush!
I went with 3 friends on a Saturday night. We had seafood tamales, black bean soup, lobster tacos, Chilean sea bass and scallops and shrimp. Everyone was happy with what they ordered and those who got the mojitos said they were wonderful. The service was friendly and professional. I would go back again. Nice to have a great restaurant without the typical attitude found in other nearby restaurants.

Can't believe they lost a phenomenal chef
I used to love eating here with my fiancé, I even recommend family and friends as well as brought them there to eat. The food used to be excellent now it is poor. the food comes out luke warm tastes unappetizing and theyre gonna lose a lot of loyal customers. I ordered a steak it was burnt and I told the owner he insisted the steak wasn't burnt but that's how the sauce tastes. Wtf who says that... I'm done!

I love this place
We happened to walk by this restaurant a few weeks ago.We popped in because their happy hour (which is from 4-8, 7 days a week) looked very appealing. They offer an abridged version of their app menu for $5 and $2 off all drinks. The food is amazing, the place is never crowded, and they have the biggest out door garden in BK. I go here as often as possible!

Fantastic place
I went with a group of friends after seeing one of the chefs competing on an episode of chopt and didn't know what to expect. I was surprised how big it is. It probably has the biggest back yard dining area of any restaurant in Bklyn. The drinks were amazing and so was the food. I am normally not a big fan of ribs but couldn't stop picking at my friends plate that he ordered.....they were so good here. Definitely recommended especially if you are not into tiny places with big crowds.

Great Atmosphere
My Boyfriend and I wanted to go to a lounge/bar and walked right into Piquant. Oh man - it was not crowded - a Monday evening - we both had a great time at the bar. The Restaurant has a $5 bar menu w/ great appetizers and food. Also, $2 off drinks between 5pm and 8pm. Great place to have drinks and also dinner with a group or loved one. I definitely recommend it.

Don't overlook this place
Have eaten dinner here a few times, and it always surprises me that it isn't busier. The food is good, tasty with some unusual dishes and flavor combinations thrown in. The space is large enough and airy enough to feel roomy and comfy (unlike some local places, which also have good food but crowded and noisy ambience). The service is consistently friendly and efficient. I'd recommend locals to give it a try -I think you'll go back for more.

I had no idea
I often passed this place on my way to another restaurant across the street. I occassionally would peek at the menu and remind myself that I should check them out. I finally went this past Labor Day weekend. It was pretty empty which raised some concern. But after we received our appetizer, all doubt had been quelled. We ordered the salmon ceviche to start and I had the orange dusted shrimp with mashed plaintains. My date had the chicken with yucca fries. Everything was well seasoned and flavorful. Both of our plates were cleaned. The service was great and the price was reasonable for the area as well. I will definitely add Piquant to my favorites list.
