it came within a half hour and it was amazing. The chicken tikki was amazing as was the paneer tikka. Naan was amazing. ONLY complaint was they didn't have side condiments like green and red sauce. The salad with dressing didn't cut it. Otherwise perfect.

Indain restauransts pop up all over New York, from the very upscale fusion to the bunch on lexington. This ones sets itself apart. The food was excellent. The key will be consistency, can they keep it up.

Just ate there last night with some friends and just loved everything that we ordered; the waiter actually recommended most of the dishes; the palak paneer was awesome (actual fresh spinach); can't wait to go back. The wait staff were friendly and attentive.

We've lived in the neighborhood for over 15 years and have never been able to find an Indian restaurant we liked close by. They all just seemed so greasy to us. Everything changed a few days ago, when I walked past Pippali and noticed that it was new to the neighborhood and looked really nice. When we ordered in tonight, we decided to give this place a chance. I'm so glad we did! We ordered the Chapli Shorba (chicken soup with Indian style sausage), Bihari Dal, Bihari Gohst (really yummy marinated braised lamb shank) and Lagan Da Murgh (amazing chicken roulade). Each dish was wonderful and we kept on smiling throughout the meal. This is such a winner! And the fact that the chef is originally from Tamarind makes so much sense. No wonder everything's so amazing! Tamarind food without the price tag. I only gave this five stars because there was no option for six. We will be back, and be spreading the word!!!!

I rarely leave reviews for anything; however, every so often one experiences a restaurant so amazing in almost every aspect it deserves to be shared. Pippali is such a restaurant; it has taken Indian cuisine to an elevated place that I find it difficult to eat anywhere else. The presentation, freshness and value are all tops. It's in a class by itself!

Came in from Long Island to have dinner here. Brought own wine. Food was great. Even though it did not have chicken vindaloo, the kitchen was able to send us a vibrant chicken dish. All the other dishes, from vegetarian to chicken and shrimp, were super
