Poor service
I keep going back to this place because it is convenient and the food is good, but the service is terrible. The wait staff are rude and rush you out of the place. There was a mix up in seating once and they made a couple get up after ordering to seat a couple that was initially there before them. It was terrible. If the waiters and hosts were trained in how to porperly treat customers, it really would be a great place.

Good takeout chicken
I take out here every so often because you can get a whole marinated, cooked chicken for under $10. It is decently reasonable. That's all I've gotten from there, but it's pretty good and reasonable.

The best chicken in town..I swear...
I am a regular customer b/c the food is DELICIOUS and the SANGRIA is out of this world. The food is affordable, 2 people with 1 glass of Sangria is about $50.00.. They don't take reservations but it's worth the wait on a Friday or Saturday night. The place is very SMALL...I'm only 5 ft and feel cramped, but it's worth it once again!

Love It
I never bother to write reviews, but I loved this place so much that I wanted to encourage others to try it. The food is sooooooo good- as is the sangria and it's a cute small authentic restaurant that's incredibly affordable. Definitely check it out.

Mmmmm Pio Pio....mmmmm sangria!
For less than $50 you can feed you and your date, as well as get tipsy on sangria. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is quaint, the sangria is to die for, and the service is perfect (there when you need them, gone when you don't.) The mere mention of Pio Pio makes me salivate!

What a Great Find
The menu is limited but never disappointing. The chicken is exceptionally flavorful and the green sauce they serve with it is amazing. The Sangria is delicious (and must be laced with brandy because it is a little sweet and very potent). The have an ice cream made from a local Peruvian fruit .. I think called Lupa, that is great. When your evening of casual dining is finished (you will be full) you will be shocked by the price. This may be be the best value in NYC. There is another Pio Pio in Jackson Heights that s just as good but the parking is impossible.
