    good food, unpleasant dining experience

Pros: great chicken, extremely good value for money (particularly the delivery prices), good sangria if you like them on the sweeter side Cons: terribly crowded and very small space, waiters are relatively rude and unfriendly and forget orders If you are in the mood for a nice grilled rotisserie-style chicken, this is an excellent option but best eaten in the comfort of your home rather than the restaurant.

    Busy Single HELL

I love Pio Pio as much as the next guy, but trying to get someone on the phone at this place is a delivery order nightmare. Not to mention when I did finally get someone they couldnt understand a word I was saying. But good food nonetheless.

    good food

I was surprised to read other reviews re subpar service. I eat here maybe once a week and have had good experiences. food is good (too good for my waistline, unfortunately!), and service has always been good. they know us and bring extra sauce, the sodas we typically order. never felt rushed. their chicken specials are great deals too

    Great food, serviec but uncomfortable

I live 2 blocks from the restaurant. I love the food and service, but it's so cramped that I don't enjoy the experience. They always try to put 3 of us at a table that is too small for even 2 people. Those of you who go there know what I'm talking about. We insist (if we are 3) that we get seated at a table on the left hand side that is more comfortable. Actually, we now drive over to the Pio Pio on Amsterdam and 94th, that's how uncomfortable it is there. There we have a little more room. As mentioned by another poster, the Matador combo is a great value.

    Great Food, Subpar Service

The food here really is great, but the service is not.The waiter just plops down the food and drinks and walks away. If you need something like water, don't expect to get it without requesting it several times. After giving us our food, the waiter never came back to check on us to see how everything was. The place is really small, so they can't be that busy. At one point our waiter was just standing outside, doing nothing. They only take American Express, but I didn't read that anywhere on the menu. You might want to inform people of that, right? I think I'll try delivery next time.

    Good Overall

The place is small, but if you catch it at an empty time it is manageable. I went with five people and we spent $50, the value is great! The food is VERY tasty and it came quick, although the waiters were kind of rude. I think this place is great and would recommend that you try it out. Also nothing comes already spicy, so if you don't like spice, definitely go here. Get the Matador Combo... best value.

    good

The food is always solid. You never have a bad meal. To clarify on something that has been said 2 people can eat for way less then 50 bucks. A combo and some sangria is way under 50
