the chicken is good (if they remember your green sauce). check your order if you get delivery as they are pretty unreliable. the dining room is very crowded.

This is by far the best chicken in the city! And the tostones are to die for!! DO NOT forget the Green Sauce!! I have to order extra every time. It is a big hit @ work and @ home!

Ok, so the service can be a little grumpy at times and you will often have to wait outside for a table if you eat in, but that is because the chicken is fantastic. They have great sauces and the salads and beans are good too. Not a fan of the fries but then thats not what you go for. Highly recommended overall.

This is, hands down, the best chicken in NYC. 1 full chicken pio should serve 2 (dudes). Do Not!!... forget to get yourself some extra aji (green sauce).

Rude Waitstaff, Long waits makes for a less than pleasant experience at this restaurant. The food was okay and good prices for the portions but I've had better sangria and chicken from cart stands on the street. Pass this place by and go to Sabor a Mexico instead.

Reasonable prices, good sangrias, best marinated chicken (w/ secret sauce) on the UES, and fast delivery. You can't ask for more than that. I've eaten at the restaurant and ordered takeout and the food was always great. They keep things simple here- the menu is short and sweet. I would recommend the lunch special and the maduros (sweet plantains).

I usually DON'T write reviews but had to sit down at 3:00 am to write this one. My mother is old school and rarely is satisfied when we go out to eat BUT she was extremely happy with the food, service and ambiance of this restaurant. I was extremely happy with the service because for a tight spot they really went out of their way to accommodate my big stroller...ironically, another person showed up with the exact stroller just moments after we settled in.
