Pio Pio

Have been calling for an hour and they took phone off the hook! Called other locations only to be told we should keep calling until phone line is not busy. If you want business pick up the phone for orders, ridiculous.

food was good, prices good. Nice little place. My only complaint, which to me was a big deal, was there was no hook or anything to hang things on. I had just gotten to the restaurant and didn't have a table, so I had my umbrella, bag, and jacket and had to put them all on the bathroom floor. You couldn't even hang anything on the doorknob. I thought this was unsanitary. All it takes is one hook to fix this problem.

I ordered from here because I heard the food was great. The tamal was ok but the salto lomido was so bland I didn't even eat half. For an $18 entree I would at least expect some seasoning. I will not order from here again.

This place must have a new cook or is under new management. I ordered from this restaurant weekly for the past year and it has been nearly perfect. Now, since Decemeber 2011, the rice has been watery and bland and the chicken is without spice or flavor and dry. I hope this is temporary.

My stomach is growling. Do I continue to wait this out or do I order from some place else? Its been over 2.5 hours and Pio Pio keeps telling me the food is on the way. Sometimes the delivery takes 10 minutes, and sometimes you end up eating a jar of pickles as you wait in hunger for 2 hours. If the food wasn't so good I would have dropped this place a long time ago. A whole chicken and yucca fries for 14 bucks is a steal. Half the time when I call they don't pick up the phone. If you don't want to deliver, just tell me. Stop stringing me along!

Awesome restaurant, my fav chicken place in nyc!

But the chicken never seems really fully cooked.This is upsetting to me.As the sauce is the best thing about this peruvian restaurant.As for seating, forgeddaboutit.Just have it delivered.Have chicken well done. We have got to find out the sauce recipe.
