A cult favorite!
This is an amazing resturant to have dinner at when you want healthy, great food and don't want to spend a lot of money. The only main dish offered is roasted chicken. It's juicy and delicious. The sangria is the best I've ever had. The avocado salad has an addictive dressing. The space is teeny so plan ahead and make reservations. Definitely a must try!

Simply Fabulous
If you are willing to skimp on atmosphere and service and want one of the most fabulous meals you have ever had, then Pio Pio is a perfect choice. My boyfriend and I usally head over to there small location on Woodhaven Blvd (8 tables), it is ALWAYS packed with people happily waiting on line for their food, even without a bar! The chicken is fantastic, I find myself craving the green sauce constantly and the rice and beans are always cooked to perfection. We love this place!

Pio Pio is getting so so
This used to be our absolute favorite place. We once ordered from here five nights in one week. But lately, it's gone way way downhill. In the past few months, The food has been less than great. Occasionally the chicken comes open, the sauce spilling all over the bag. The other night we waited close to two hours for our dinner and the rice was all hard when it came. I've often brought friends from out of town to Pio Pio, including a pretty well known food critic, but if Pio Pio keeps going downhill it will be bye bye for us.

Good Stuff
The chicken and jalea taste great. But the best is the sangria and the green hot sauce.

Excelent Food, Mediocre Service
Pio Pio is by far one of the tastiest deals in NYC. The chicken is super delicious, rice and beans really tasty. I haven't had one thing I didn't really like. Oh the manduras.....The sangria is not bad either. The Jalea is is amazing. It comes in 3 different sizes, however the small, which isn't small by any means, is not available on weekends - something even the waiters cannot explain why! Please do not question anything or ask anything twice while you're there, because you will in fact annoy the waiters and in turn get poor service - trust me on this one. Fortunately, the food keeps me going back!

Amazing
This is my favorite restaurant in New York. The food is absolutely INCREDIBLE, and there's no better deal in town - for what you get, the prices are dirt cheap. Run, don't walk, to Pio Pio. You won't be disappointed!!
