Amazing!
This restaurant was amazing. You have to try it. The food is great, the sangria even better. You might have to wait a bit, but it is worth it. I recommend going w/ a group the portions are big.

Great UES find
Went here last night. What a bargain. Everything was great, especially the plaintains and the sangria. You get sooo much for your money. Tiny little nieghborhood gem, will definitely come afgain.

Salty
First time ordering after reading all the great reviews. Hubbie and I weren't impressed. Chicken, saffron rice and green dipping sauce were just too salty. We ate it anyway because we were famished after a long day. Would not order here again. Doubt they put real saffron in the rice, dipping sauce was too mayonaisey and dressing for avocados was nothing special. Maybe the seafood dishes would be better.

Sooo Good
I always go to the Jackson Heights location. It's got seating inside and outside. I always order chicken, rice, beans, maduros, and jalea (fancy calamari) for the appetizer. I always look forward to the visit and always leave stuffed a bit tipsy from the delicious sangria. I love the atmosphere, ranging from young people to elders and all races. When it's someone's birthday, they put on a Birthday song over the speakers and everyone in the place claps along as they bring the birthday person their cake. Fun and delicious every time! Try the garlic sauce.

Pio Pio on 1st in new york
Excellent food. Order every weekend. wish i had one where i live in westchester,ny. travels very well. hard to smell delicous food without wanting to pull over. the best food in town

Great food but delivery takes forever..
I just waited one hour and ten minutes for lunch, and when the food finally came, the chicken was completely cold. Food is great when you go there, but not recommended for delivery!

Great time for my birthday!
I celebrated my birthday here last night with some friends and I had a fabulous time! I didn't feel rushed, the food was great and came EXTREMELY fast! Towards the end of dinner they turned down the lights and played a happy birthday song over the speaker along with some dessert with a candle! It was very nice. Again, the food was great and served in great portions!
